any random thoughts?

i feel like for him 54s is a bad 3 betting hand since most ppl at this limit are incapable of slow playing QQ+ AK not that i'm mad.

so i feel like Ax hands are better to 3 bet, but it did feel a bit odd considering this cooler is not in that many ppl's arsenal (including mine which makes me feel a little bit dirty).

didn't mind flatting flop obviously since we have a back up heart, but also felt that most of his range of Ax/trash would barrel turn very often. i suppose though at this limit ppl may not bluff enitre stacks that often, and there may be some value in raising the flop. i feel like if i didn't have the Ah i would be more inclined to do so.

any other random thoughts about crushing this limit?

you played it fine, and aside from his 3bet size he played it fine too

54s wont give you trouble postflop whereas ax will - at your stakes im sure people are peeling 3bets with like i dont know, AJ, ATs, A9s? if thats the case, that makes an argument for 3betting Ax worse.

sorry i'm not quite sure i understand the last bit. if they are peeling with worse Ax hands like AJ AT then we should 3 bet worse Ax?

and for 54 i meant usually he's going to get blown off that hand alot. although u are right he's not going to care that much. but i felt 3 bet bluffing with Ax hands would work better due to card removal and ppl's general lack of calling 3 bets in position at this limit.

if people have more big Ax in their flatting range, which i was assuming they do at lower stakes, its bad to 3bet small Ax as a bluff because of the times you get into domination issues postflop. whereas 54s is never dominated, makes more potential draws, and will never ever be in a spot where you're wondering if you should stack off with bottom pair

54s isnt gonna get blown off a lot because he has initative. it's different from raise/calling 54s which is really poor in most cases
