I know I will sound like a huge nit, but I fold turn against regs unless I have seen them bluffing like this before :/

lol

It depends on villian so much ...
And come one guys ... flop is a raise 100%

there is an OESD and a FD out and we have AA in a raised pot
while we get donked to us.
Why in hell do we not raise flop ? ( @ evilsky)

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)Last edit: 06/06/2009 17:28

i check back turn and call a river bet. Problem is most people who play will have a lead range that is polarized (usually) to complete air or really strong hands. Once he calls after leading u can put him on sets/twopair/combo draw type hands. The turn hits the vast majority of his range imo. When he checks turn he is giving you a free card to catch up. I don't think your turn bet will get called by worse hands to often.

edit: i like flop raise assuming you raise flop leads with complete air a good majority of the time

dont tap the glass...im about ready to take a fucking hammer to the aquariumLast edit: 06/06/2009 17:28

I like
and thats also what i would do as a standard play here
check back turn and call river bet/ ( or bet fold river if he c/r on river)

main reason i dont want to raise the flop is that i dont want to blow him off his air and weak draws and QJ or something, and get it in against a range im flipping against - altho with AxAd its probably not that bad, KK tho is bad prolly.

flop raise is ok, but i would check behind turn since donkbet/call flop is like 80% draw imo, then call his river bet and write him a note
