I time outed as I was asking someone else for advice
I probably should not have called PF with that OOP anyway, but the table was very loose.

I think I should have called but I am not sure
My kicker was weak, but the pot had not been raised so he probably didn't have the last A with a strong kicker.
but A9 or AT were likely.
should I have called/reraised all in?
would reraising with such a low kicker be ok?

And what if it had not been a pair of aces but a pair of lower cards?

my advice is avoid playing ace-8 suited from under the gun
its a good hand in general but under the gun is by far the least profitable position in the game you only play huge hand from here or hands with killer potential like small pocket pairs ace-8 suited = muck

if the table is very loose dont sink down to their level , "everyone is playing bad, i might as well play bad too?" all your good hands should be payed off here nicley

given the situation this is an easy muck, you are calling to split a pot you are not commited too

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same
