Alright, the more i think about this hand, the more I hate my play. At what point should i have folded this? I was playing it in the first place cause it's a decent high hand with a nut flush draw. On the Flop i think someone has a set or 2 pair, so i thought i might spike a jack and completely stack that player then. (Thought of Implied Odds etc.) I hit my jack, hooray. Now since there is only 2.40 in the pot + the third low hasn't hit, i decide to bet the pot, since I currently have nut high. I don't manage to force anyone of his hand. (Too bad) Now the river is a complete disaster card for me, but akaSOB bets only 5 $ (I have seen him bet pot everytime he has nut high OR nut low, meaning he doesn't really feel confident. Now this last card completes 78, 37 and even 23 straight. Would he have bet pot i would have folded for sure. I would have also folded if the third player hadn't folded. But the way it ran, i thought about it and felt he hadn't made the straight. So since i didn't want to lose all I have already bet I decide to call expecting he had some sort of low and we'd split. (is that a bad move?)
That's at least how i talked myself into calling and i got quite lucky on this one too I think. Any comments?
