jantje123   Netherlands. Apr 07 2007 12:22. Posts 3787 pot flop this is way to weak. check turn or bet normally. just on a sidenote by betting 3 on 8 pot u are giving great odds to the 34 and j7. there calles were +EV against u for sure.

casshern   United States. Apr 14 2007 02:00. Posts 1083 well, I figured flush draws will call almost anything up to pot size cause they ALWAYS do. So just in case it hit on the turn, I wouldn't have committed as many chips, allowing for an easier fold. The turn bet was intended for one of them to fold, thus giving not as great odds to whoever was drawing to a flush. Since the 34 called, the flush got great odds. But you're right, I should've bet a little more. Its a portal... to another world
