river is bad again.. you are getting no value from betting more than there is in the pot. two pair gonna call you, set of 8 gonna call you and an ace with better kicker gonna call you.. you will rarely see worst hand calling oversized bet
I see. I think maybe I'm a bit weak in the sense that I worry about a bigger ace and the set in this spot so I try to check and gain info about whether they are weak or not. I mean I suppose part of that is I feel a big turn bet gets called if they're beating me either way or raised. Where as most people won't check the river unless they have nothing because it's there last chance for value. I suppose this is flawed thinking and I should try and build a pot here.
