Villain is a very loose player. He likes raising with a wide range pf and at times just calls. He also has a tendency to donk lead on the flop a lot with an assumable wide range as well.

He is 35/12 with a 2.1 aggression factor.

So here I decided to isolate him with a weak hand hoping to make a set. But in hindsight it's probably a bad idea since I'd have a hard time making him fold if we miss. BUT lo and behold we hit bottom set. Nice!

So we cb and gets called. That's expected. But then on the turn...??? Are we sticking this in his face?

I mean, this is tough. I've been playing mostly tight and he knows we have AA** majority of the time here (or maybe not), and yet he donk leads in to me. We call?

hmm not sure but i think it could be a fold? on a board like this his betting range (which is basically a jam) shouldn't ever contain low equity bluffs, since too many hands have draw+SDV and will call. i'd say his range here is like KQxx, AJxx, possibly JJQ or JJK, and some strong semibluffs like nut diamonds. TTxx is also a possibility.

one reason to call is if you suspect villain will play AT or some kind of JT or J3 this way.

it seems pretty close though since we have equity vs KQ and villain prob plays AJ this way very very often... idk ><
