because he is one of few regs that don't 3b AKo from blinds, so his calling range on turn is like AKo, AJss maybe? and some AQ, then his calling range on this particular river is probably only AKo

pretty sick, he won't call AQ here? turn is weird, do you think he fold alot of AJ/AT because of the sizing? like would he still call a normal sizing/fold river with a bad AJ/AT?

locoo   Peru. Dec 10 2013 14:46. Posts 4561

I don't think he will fold any big Ace ever on turn, they all got outs and I can certainly valuetown myself if he holds AT/AJ, but I'm positive he either folds AT/AJ pre or 3bet them, so his range is very more skewed towards AK and then AQ. And yeah with normal sizing I think he can call turn and fold most rivers if he doesn't improve, pretty tough board to bluff on, unless he has no idea how I perceive his range and somehow thinks I can valuetown myself with worse Aces or put him on middle pairs.

I don't know about this guy, but he can't expect you not to bet the river again most of the time - also when you do it's gonna be big for the most part. I think he'd probably call here with AQ and maybe sometime level himself but by the way he plays his AQ AK AJ AT he's probably somewhat tight and might just fold, which still is a bit weird considering he expects you to barrel again. Even when someone tend to flat call their AK I think that they still 3b some part of them, like AKs so I'd probably think he has more AQ. After all he had AKo ~ sure is an interesting hand.

because of the post above your original one
