tbh i was surprised to see his hand. I mainly bet this size to rep none nut value/bluff and already planned to bet/call. Even vs my sizing, i didnt think hed jam 99/jj for value. I thought I'd be seeing QQ or TT vs a shove mostly and didnt really consider his exact holding into his range.

yeah I (and evidently he too) assume that you'd bet QT on turn most of the time no? it's 4 combos only anyway at leaqst havily discounted |

How can you say you think your bet size reps a non-nut hand and at the same time say he won't value shove 99/JJ?
Not like you're checking back QTs (if you somehow ever cold flat a 3b with it) or KK or will be perceived to do so. Yeah maybe once in a while w/ KK to induce something on the river but hardly worth considering for him.
