Too late for me. I've already been using the banks to withdrawal my funds. Anyways when I'm making future big purchases and taking out loans ill need a good tax and credit history

Are you declaring professional status and itemizing deductions?

Also quick question to anyone who's paid taxes on poker earnings. Did you report your money that is in your poker account too or just the money you cashed out?

Also wat was some major deductions that helped u a lot?

srsly you guys, we play POKER. and ONLINE poker at that. we don't even need to be in the country. how could the situation get any better for evading taxation?
We should have an official LP board: "Tax Evasion" right under tournament poker, for trading tips n tricks.
I'm sure the site overlords will insta-approve this uncontentious idea.

It could also discuss rake evasion, rakeback effects cashflow in a similar way.

excuse me I am off to dodge the governments agents that are knocking on my door.

i've always found it curious that people ask about taxes on here. not specifically this thread of course, since it's harmless enough, but wasn't there a thread last year asking like "so who pays taxes LOL?" i've always been curious though, if you play professionally online, can you write different pc accessories off? say a new, bigger monitor for instance?

Just what I cashed out. One thing I did is keep a paper and pen ledger of money won and lost. The important thing about paper and pen is that it has held up in tax court when someone was audited while spreadsheets have not held up on audits bc they are easily changed. Hope that helps.
