So about 5 months ago I made a blog about quitting and got into an argument with Baal (zomg wat r the odds amiright) and after seeing whamms post today decided I should supply an update.
Havent smoked since, had a couple instances of strong cravings that I attribute to feeling that emptiness we have deep down, but Ive managed to stay clear and I dont really expect to ever relapse again.
Seriously just get a hold of The Easy way by Allen Carr and just really get into it in a big way, get over the cheesiness of it and whatnot and it will make quitting really easy.
Currently trying to get my old man to quit but I think it might actually be easier to win an argument with Baal.

I just looked up the wiki stats on cold turkey. U should have used that to argue with baal. Turns out a lot of people are more than capable of quitting cold turkey.
Also, I wonder if you're argument with baal significantly gave you the fortitude and incentive to stop smoking. I mean it's one thing to be like "ah well, i guess this cold turkey attempt was a fail... hopefully I'll quit soon"
It's quite another thing to put putting a cig into ur mouth thinking .... "Damn, that baal guy was right and i'm wrong" |

Congrads man, keep at it. The most important thing is stay away from triggers such as friends and family that smoke. Or environments were people smoke.  |

As long as were into sharing I just weighed myself today for the first time in over a year, mind you the last time I did I was around 80kg or so, and to my utter horror the scale said 98.8 which to me might as well have said 4 million, Im going to the gym first thing tomorrow. I hope this isnt the price for quitting the cigs... |
