fuck goals. im just gonna have some fun learning to play better poker and not think about making money. all these $$$$ goals are what causes all the misery in the grind. i see myself going to vegas again this year, making decent money and having an awesome year regardless, coz 2009 was filled with too much "goooools" and sucked pretty bad. i downloaded a pic of a check and edited it in paint(lol) puttting some ridiculous amount thinking im def cashing it out by the time the check is good.  i wont fucking worry about the games and shit anymore, just not worth the stress. gl to everyone

yah try to keep monetary goals very consevative or nonexistant imo... a conservative but reasonable volume goal is good though I think, just make sure u don't hit your v conservative volume goal and go "ok that's enough for the week" or w/e lol |

im just trying to get away from this whole self-entitlement bs ive gotten myself into the past year, its like i expect people to throw money at me constantly coz they're bad players and such when luck is such a huge factor nowadays. ive practically given up on NL coz honestly every session has been nothing but a misery-laden experience. if i have to learn badugi and shit just keep this whole thing interesting and make some money ill def do it, just to keep things fun lol |

yeah letting go of those $$ goals is my top priority this year and obv learning how to play better, it's hard to deal with both goals at the same time. |
