I just discovered the world of sport betting by randomly browsing the partypoker software.
I didnt know it was so advanced actually. I thought you could only bet on who will win & lose but in fact you can place your bet on almost everything (number of goals, first/last to score, who score it, score at the end of first/second half and so on...) It's amazing.
I'm going to place my very first bet on France vs Eire tonight (100$ france win).
Eire v France
Eire win:3.10 Even:3.00 France win:2.30 32+
Qualification Playoff
I might win 230$ if france win hehe
Very exciting!
So my question is :
What's the best software for sport betting?
As partypoker isnt fully dedicated to sport betting there should be a better and more sofisticated ones...

Sports betting is my passion. If you're serious about getting into it you should check out www.sbrodds.com. Great site for information on stats, where the lines are moving, who is injured.. etc.
A few great sites to use are BookMaker, BetJamaica and TheGreek. I have accounts on those and they are superb.
I spend quite a bit of time handicapping games. If you're into betting on the NBA and/or NFL feel free to PM me. |

as a European, www.betfair.com is a must
if you're an American, www.matchbook.com is just as good
Pinnacle has the 'sharpest' line, which means if you can find books dealing a number that is "off" by a point or more (US sports) you can profitably bet the bad number.

Many internet sites offer -105 juice, which is 5% commission. At the betting exchanges (betfair, matchbook, and mansion etc) you can pay as little as 2% Again, this is for major US sports with a pointspread (most efficient markets)

In a nutshell, how does the betting process work. I understand odds on a basic level...but I'm more curious as to how easy it is to get money on and off of a site, how deposit bonuses work, if you are able to just go in and bet on 1 event at a time, if there is some limit on how much you can bet etc, any fees/commission that are common, and how quickly money is moved in and out of your account. Thanks in advance.
