lol I've been thinking about this really frequently the past week or two, since I hardly get outside lately.
I heard (I'll have to look it up w/e) that you can't get the proper vitamin D from vitamins and you have to be in the sun for your body to get the vitamin d you need, heard anything about this? |

how much do i need to be in the sun per day to get my daily dosage
edit: Some sun exposure on your arms, face, hands or similar surface area is important to reduce your risk of vitamin D deficiency. Recommended sunlight exposure for people with fair skin includes:
* September to April – a few minutes of sunlight exposure either side of peak UV times. Always protect your skin from the sun with clothing, shade and/or sunscreen between 10am and 3pm. Reapply sunscreen every two hours.
* May to August – two to three hours of sunlight exposure over the week. Take advantage of sunny periods. Sun protection is not necessary during the winter months in the southern areas of Australia, unless you are at high altitudes or near reflective surfaces like snow or water.
thanks |

did she test your magnesium levels? over 90%+ of people are strongly deficient in magnesium. some people even died from it. people who think a LOT are the ones who are most affected. |

most of society happens indoors these days.. tbh I have exactly zero reason to go outside aside from going specifically because I want to for health reasons. |

anywhere between 15-30 mins a day is plenty. having as most of your skin exposed as possible. |

I think it helps strengthen your bones. Since you get vitamin d from sunlight I'm sure everyone on this forum has low levels. you don't need to take supplements for it go out in the sun without sunblock because the body absorbs it much better this way. |
|
Of course it was a good shove, I won | |

you don't need a reason to go take a walk or enjoy outdoors activity. they are great for your health and that is a good reason enough.
i know where you are coming from though and lately i've been going out much less so i just do things that i would do indoor - outdoor. listening to music or reading can be done while getting some sun. |
