I've played fixed limit 1-2 up to 30-60.
1-2 was full of stupid LAG people, but they seemed to always make their draws against me so I skipped it, it was just too much variance to me and went to 2-4.
2-4 was regular abc fixed limit poker, with good results, nothing particular about it.
3-6 is definetly the easiest, full of tilting monkeys who play nl25-nl200 that are on tilt and want to make money back. all you have to do is reraise them every single of their pf raise , play them in position. this i would say is the easiest level of all fixed limit at stars.
5-10 and 10-20 are pretty much the same, except for 10-20 i find it more easy as people just fold to every cbet i do if they dont flop anything. 5-10 they'll try to reraise you on most flops to make you fold a cbet.
somewhere between 5-10 and 20-40 you have to start folding tptk against some players if they do their shitty c-call flop, check-raise turn.
20-40 i dont remember much in general about it although my pokertracker said this is the one i played more hands in, i just remember certain players i would avoid or others i would search for, if you're interested I could send you notes on some of the fixed limit regulars of this level,
30-60 has so much variance regulars that do crazy bluffs on turns and rivers you have to use table selection or you will find youself breaking even in a LOT of sessions.
Anyway, i love fixed limit so if you ever wanna talk about it pm me and i'll add .ya up |
