I only got 1 way insurance. The crash happened in the front but the engine is in the back/middle so the engine wasn't touched.

I've always had a soft spot for SW20 MR2s. I almost bought a Turbo one but I got the S2000 instead. Great little cars and MR setup is the nuts. Rota D2 wheels are nice, I have the real version (SSR Professor SP1) on my car. They'll look good with that blue. I'm assuming you're getting Gunmetal? Although gold would look pretty hot.

Do yourself a favor and buy a JDM 3S-GTE swap. It will make the car feel so much faster.

I was also thinking about getting the real versions but then i saw the cost, 2-3k lol.

It wasn't gunmetal. I placed the order for black ones with machined silver lips but then it was backordered so I cant really buy them yet until they come in again in 1-2 weeks. As for the looks Im really shooting in the dark here and hoping they look as good as they did in my head because I couldn't really try them on. I never really thought about the gold ones. I know for sure they look sexy on black but wasnt sure about blue. I just went with black cuz i figured black matches with almost anything.

This is actually the first real car that I bought for myself and i just learned how to drive stick on it so I wanted a car that wouldn't have any problem
About the engine swap, I just bought her lol and with 36k miles it might be a while before i want to swap it lol. Although the turbo version of this car is friggin fast, most of them have well over 100k miles and have some issues due to people racing and abusing the turbo.

I might add a turbo kit for it or something in the future but those can be pretty pricey and gona be a lot of work to make it compatible with my engine.

my gf has an '02 MR2 Spyder, hot little car. Handles really well. I think the older ones have a stock turbo though?
