Weeee so I thought I would outline what my plan is to sort of 'recover' from how shitty I've been playing the past 6k-10k hands. I'd also like to put a brief emo whine because I can. Its my blog damn it.

I am such a pussy and I suck at getting over my ex-gf and I should emo wrist my face off with a chainsaw tied to a pogo stick. Seriously. Its been FOREVER.
But ya this is messing me up poker-wise the past days.. dunno why but it popped up in my head again -_-.
Emo part over.

Poker:
So yeah, I think I've gotten really lazy the past 6-10k? hands at nl100. When I was crushing and then for the 10k hands I was doing well at nl100, I was table selecting a lot, and I was luckily mostly playing during the only good hours at Cakepoker, where you can actually get 1 fullstacked fish per table instead of just nitty regs.

But overall I just got lazy with it. I started c-betting flops I know I shouldn't, but I was sort of falling into a really weak auto-piloting play. I experienced a little variance and I too quickly let my confidence slip. I was folding to more bluffs because I stopped being confident in my reads, or not valuebetting when I ought to.

The whole not-trusting-myself problem was exactly what I 'got over' at the start of this year and got me out of nl10. So I need to refocus on that. I really think my success all boils down to my confidence and trusting my thoughts.. you know?

So I have a plan. Its pretty brief:
-4table for 10k hands at nl100
-restore my confidence
-watch some videos
-Change sites by the end of march (I most likely FTP unless I bonus whore the evil UB :/ which I actually feel bad about considering.. ). I need to change sites so I can have some amount of table selection.
-Get in the gym again to give myself a break from the computer and get back in shape/increase confidence as well.

That's pretty much it.

Also I got a loan secured against my bankroll from my grandma(<333 gma). My roll is at 7k ATM and I got a 5k loan. Hopefully I'll come back +money though
Any thoughts on if I should play any 2/5 at all? I'm going to poker probably an average of 8 hours a day for 6 days. I'll start at 1/2. When should I move up? Should I at all with a "short" roll? I imagine if I'm on point I should crush the games, but there is ofc fewer hands played and variance will play a large role.

Thanks 'n gl peeps.

I always get super squeezy and spazzy when 4-tabling. If you normally 6-table it's probably a good thing to cut to 4, but if you do 8+ normally I think cutting back this hard could be a bad thing.

why would you start playing 1/2 , 2/5 , when your not even crushing 100nl ?

How you want it, bars or bullets?

I think he means live. night, I'd just nl200. No matter how bad the players are you can lose 70/30s and it sounds like blanking two of those in a row would really hurt.

yep I think I will try and sit at games where I can buyin for 300, I learned of a game that is supposedly unusually soft and has a $300 buyin for 1/2.

if I happen to like seriously heater at 1/2 I will probably sit at 2/5 with my profits if I find a good game though tbh
