So I mailed stars about coming short to supernova.
Dear Scotty,
I would mail you back on jan 1. So I do. I was stuck at around 6,8k vpp.
Tried everything to get it, got more than 35k vpp in december but I failed
by a bit in the end. Is there some way that I can have a few extra days to
get the supernova status? Normally getting supernova isn't a problem but I
only started playing on pokerstars in august, since then I was sold and
only play on Stars. I haven't played today since it's newyear and like
everyone i'm a bit hungover. 3 extra days would do the job no problem.
Anyhow thanks in advance whatever the outcome may be.
Yours truly,
Marco van Veldhuizen
Got this back.

dunno if this is correct but..
supernova +3.5 per vpp earned so that would give u 350k
plat star +2.5 so that gives u 250k
seems equal and very nice of them to do

definitely a nice addition for you
dont mean to be all doom and gloom but in my opinion stars is only doing this from a business standpoint, it is +EV for them to offer this as their business gets more money than if they don't. and it ties u down to stars for the year when otherwise u may be tempted to switch to another site
the genius of their vip system is that its incredibly hard to stop playing there given the way its set up or u stand to lose all ur previous hard work, if your not making a run for supernova elite, then its a milestone bonus, maybe supernova, or even the 10k vpps u need just to maintain ur vip status |

almost sounds like if you aren't going to get SNE then to just play on FTP and go with 27% |
