in soccer/football if your team gives away a foul in the penalty box it's usually a spot kick, but if it's a less serious offence then the other team gets an indirect free kick in the box, which means it has to touch a team mate before you can score from it
must be a bitch having to defend against these

The free kick in the box is when a defender passes back to his own goalkeeper who then proceeds to pic up the ball with his hands.
every foul vs a player in the box leads to a penalty 100%

yea it's any of these, backpass is the main culprit though from what i've heard
this is the list copied from another website
* Playing in a dangerous manner (high foot without contact for example)
* Goalkeeper touches ball with hands after it has been passed to him by a teammate deliberately. (note the handball itself need not be deliberate).
* Goalkeeper handles ball directly from a throwin from a team mate
* Player commits an offence punished with a yellow card or red card which is not a penal offence (eg dissent, etc)
* Goalkeeper takes more than 6 seconds when controlling the ball with his hands (this is still an offence, but is rarely penalised)
* Goalkeeper touches ball with his hands after it has been released from his possession and noone else has played the ball (ie he rolls the ball out then picks it up again) - known as the double touch.
* Impedes the progress of an opponent - rarely penalised, and more often or not would result in a penalty (if contact is made)

lol yea last month sucked lol. i was going so good too! in poker related news my luck balloon burst and ive been getting pounded for over 70k hands, probably worst losing period ive ever gone through, but im in the green again for this month after some serious grinding.
chasing the 200,000 vpp milestone, about 25k vpp's to go but i'll update poker stuff at end of year
lol im australian but most ppl here call it soccer still, and i agree football is a better name but it saves confusing ppl if i just say both

i used to play soccer when i was younger and i was a goal keeper. i was like 11 or 12 i think and like in this not serious league i got called for that but they gave a direct penalty kick. I had no idea what happened. Id never heard of that rule, i was sooo pissed off at the ref i remember. i did stop the penalty kick btw guys.
