Today another bad session ...
-5 bi at Nl25

for the last month i have the same problem accuring over and over again.
Would be nice if someone can give me general hints of what might be wrong there.

1.) When i get good hands my opponent usually folds or has an insane monster hand set++
2.) When i bluff opponent often call me down with 2nd or even 3rd pair for stacks !

So i simply dont understand this ...

My first thought is that i shall play TP good kicker harder since 1.) is probably just cooler
anbd 2.) means they will still call me down with lots of worse hands than TP

unfortunately this hasnt worked out yet ...

ALso my Vpip somehow decreased
I was 22/18/4 when i won a lot at Nl50 and some at Nl100

now i am only 19/15/3.5

well i probably suck hardcore nowadays ...
back to Nl10 ...

Update
-5 $ almost breakeven ^^

+ 120$ last 400 hands 3 tabling

Yea, reducing tables probably pwns. You might be underrestimating variance and Hidden Random Luck. You're probably a bit worse then you think when you run good and a bit better then you think now. That's probably true for almost anyone, but even more so when you havn't played more then a couple of 100k hands lifetime.

i think 4 tabling is the key for poker succes, it helps improvement tremendously imo (and I've also noticed I run better if I 4table than if I 12 table lol)

there are 2 possible explanations for your vpip
1) you've become weaktight because of losing a lot
2) you've adapted to looser call downs

when u have tptk u have to be aware of position and board texture and type of player villain is. in position play it slightly harder than when oop regardless coz u have control of the hand and the pot.
just remember that in everything you do, extract value if situation allows u to do so, try not to FOLD OUT HANDS YOU BEAT with very hard bets all the time, at times let them bluff you by checking behind when u improve by the turn esp when ur in position.

That's variance. And you have a bad mindset.

Think that when they pay when you have a monster it's a bonus, rather than the opposite.

Having just done a 10 BI challenge at this limit I can say I learnt a few things about these players. Firstly their ranges are so much wider than profitable when they make raises/all ins. I found myself getting it AI PF against hands like A6, 22, QJs for full buyins (I don't play like a maniac so they are not reading my bluffing soul or something). Sometimes even over a raise and re-raise they will shove with this shit. Having said that odds to these people are non existent. These ppl will call ~$20 AI bets on the turn with flopped flush draws. A popular line with the nuts was also call any amount PF, bet $1.50 on flop, $1.50 on turn then AI on river. I think I c-bet almost every flop 3 handed or less with excellent success.

You mention TPTK but you need to be aware of what boards to build pots and what boards to control pots on. Like I said these people will chase anything.

Really if you have played at NL50 (I found there to be almost no difference in skill between the limits) and NL100 with some success you should be able to crush NL25.

Ofc i am able to crush NL25

But while 3 tabling i notcied i make lots of mistakes that i dont really notice when 6tabling ...
