so i took about a week off since that downswing last week and played my first session today (lots of tests coming up to study for so i didnt play plus i wanted a few days to get my mindset straight).
and yea i really have no clue what im doing so wrong. lost 6 of my last 7 sessions, -7 buyins in my last 4 (about 5800 hands total). i doubt this is just a bad run of luck and i'd really like to not blame variance. im going to start posting a few hands from each session i play that im unsure about and hopefully learn from it. im afraid that im spewing in other spots that i dont even notice though. i think im playing pretty solid, tight ABC poker, playing about 11/10. if i drop down to $200 im gonna take a step back and try NL5 before continuing with NL10. i also think i played with a really, really clear head today compared to last week, but man i dunno.

i give you an honest tip of the hat for being realistic. drop down to nl5, read about poker, talk about hands, post in forum, etc. put a fair amount of hands in and you will see results. |

I dont agree.The low stakes forum has become an absolute joke and most of the guys are seriously overplaying their hands.You should look throu every 20bb+ pot the last 6k hands u made exploit most of ur mistakes also indeed drop to 5nl, watch some movies up to 20nl game s about the same |

if ur playing fr those stats are ok, just work on getting maximum value out of your gud hands and not drawing w/out great odds. |

yea ive been trying to look through all my biggest pots to find mistakes. do you really feel that games up to nl20 are all the same? i see a lot of good players saying all the micros are the same but im starting to get the idea that theyve been away from micros too long to remember. i had 18bb/100 at nl2 through 35k hands and so far through 13k hands at nl10 im only at 1.68bb/100. |
