LOl today i met an old schoolmate at a party
we were pretty drunk and talked about poker
and he was like : i am the shit i rule live poker ...
and i was like : have u ever played online ?`if no , i will challenge u HU
He said : he hasnt played online but he is pretty good live and he is a hughe winner playing his friends and he would accept every Hu challenge
we agreed on Nl100 euro HU ...
match ends when someone is up 5 buy ins ...
i am not sure if he will really show up ...
but i definitely will
well i am not that good of a Hu player
but i have some nl50 and some Nl100 Hu experience
Besides that i play 1-3 hours of online poker every day.
I have a pretty sick 8,5BB/100 winrate on Nl50
his achievements so far are some 15euro live sngs that he plays 2-3 times a month ...
he hasnt played online and he is a winner at 5euro live cashgames with some friends ....
i dont know if this will ever happen , cause he probably will reailze 500euro is more than he thought when he is sober
but if this will ever happen i ll do a report here

HU is ez, the only problem is that live players havn't got the slightest idea about wtf they're doing most of the time so it might be hard to read him. Thus: just try to play solid. |

live hu kinda sucks, its supposedly bad eticit to fold ur button since u have to redeal all over again

well ive played some live 9 handed cashgames before ... but it were 5 euro cashgames with 10/20 cents blinds (lol shortstackaments ) .since most of my friends dont want to play higher nor deeper >-<
i am down in them a bit
but on the other hand 5euro is so low buy in that neither of us really cared about the money and 25BB deep without rebuy unless ure 0BB is a joke...
So i made sure to make him agree with some rules
1.) Buy in is 100euros ( 154$) ( that is a bit higher than what i normally play Nl50/Nl100 ...but i also want to make sure that the money means something to him ...dont wanna make it a playmoney match)
2.) we play 100BB deep rebuy is allowed at all times ( i guess this makes it pretty nice for me since its same as NL100 from betsizes and shit and i will feel pretty comfortable ... opposed to what he is used playing in his 5 euro 25-50bb deep live cashgames and 15euro sngs....)
3.) Game does not end untill someone is up 5 full buy ins ... ( i am aware i can easily lose like 1-3 buy ins vs him due to just coolers and stuff .. but i think i wont lose 5 buy ins straight vs a 15euro live SNG player)
4.) Trusted person will get 500euro from each of us before the match starts. Money will not leave the trusted cashier unless the HU game is completely over ( someone is 5buy ins up)
5.) Both person agree that we are aware were playing about 500euro and that there will be no bad blood from the loser after the match.
i think this are pretty good rules to make sure its gonna be fun match.
I will play very tight the first hour i guess and just try to go to showdown in big pots with 2pair and stuff
after that i will losen up a bit and test him
tbh i am pretty sure i will bulldoze him hard .... ( i mean he players micro stakes SNGS 3 times a month and live micro cashgame 1time a week ...)
he probably plays like 400hands a month on average ... and has never even played online |
