Nl 100 failed

mostly due to insane bad luck when being involved with the fish in the first place
But i also feel my edge at Nl100 6 max vs regulars is rather small for the most part.
Many players play exactly teh style which which i crushed Nl50 and so variance is a huge factor there i guess
Many of the players are generally kinda tight postflop but tend to make some bluffs every now and then. They majority of the time they still have a monster when the pots are hughe.

So overall i guess winning big pots is not possible unless u
a) play vs fish
b) have luck and get the better and of a setup like u flop set when they have overpair,Top pair or whatever.

IN all the big pots i was involved with regulars they either had
- a super strong hand like 70%
- at least Nutflush draw or other strong combined draws like TP + FD or OESD+FD etc... 15%
- absolute garbage 15%

So i guess the way to win money from all the TAGS is probably to win lots of small pots on flop and turn or get lucky >-<
I noticed nobody of them will pay u off with bad hands ;(

Other than that there is still a lot of fish on NL100
probably a good source of income
But unfortunately i run sick bad vs the fish and so i lost a lot of money

here are 2 nice hands vs fish

besides that i really think it probably was too early to play with 2,500$ ....
i mean the money just matters too much with that bankroll to play ure A game and stay tilt free

-9 buy ins overall

I think the idea is too break even at the big pots (or a little above break even) and steal all the smaller pots that the regs won't fight for. ( Don't know though I play 25NL LOL )

The trick is to tilt the hell out of bad regs and then tighten up.

gap between nl50 and nl100 at PS is huge, but with good table selection you can do it for sure

I go with the quote from PA that goes something like "in no-limit, you have to make the money with no cards"

Oh man =(, as a long time lurker I always liked your blog a lot so this kinda makes me sad. You also seemed a chap that had some bad luck/bad plays but just put his head down and managed to get up again.
I play 50nl on party atm and plan on mixing like 3 tables in when I'm on 2500 and try to move up to 100nl when i have 3k total BR.
I don't think i would comfortably do stuff like 4bet with 67o on 100nl with just a 2k bankroll.
Against regs that are nitty you can always force them to open up by playing very agro but it is higher variance then just getting money from the fish of course. My main play against regs is just to keep their stealing/3betting in check so they dont mess with my blinds/steals.

Good luck on 50nl!

Well , nothing dramatic
I lost like 900$ in 3 days which sucks but isnt the end of the world.

@ kimes
quite interesting and probably true for higher stakes ^^
@ lachlan , hm id say that is also true shortterm.
Variance is mighty ^^

well i will make some comeback
GL all
