So about 6 months ago i bought a new computer, i built it all from scratch, now im out here in colorado where there isnt a good computer store anywhere, and my computer is trying to kill it self..

first thing that happend is me and AJ shocked the shit outa our computers, i walked down the stairs and built up a buncha static, went to sit down at my computer and touched my keyboard, it shocked my keyboard, my computer stars saying its recognizing new USB devices and shit, then the keyboard stops working... im like wtf i shocked my keyboard to death.. so that was a beat, then aj walks over about an hour later and shocks his mouse to death.. so were down a total of like 110 in mouse/keyboard shit..

i wake up the next morning, every USB port on my computer is fried.. and the ps2 slots... so my mouse and keyboard wont work, it was also easter so i couldnt fix anything..
since i cant replace the montherboard cuz there isnt a computer store anywhere, i got a PCI usb card... so i fixed that this morning.. my computer had been running for about 10 mins when i walked away to get a soda, i come back its all shut off, i start it up, it says the CPU fan isnt working.. i open it up, one of the power supply cables had a cover around it, like a mesh cover to keep um all bunched together, well the mesh got stuck in the fan and broke off one of the fan blades.. so ive been rigging it back up with just a standard case fan, cuz i dont wanna go back to the store...

it seems to be working alright now, but i dont think this is over yet..

in other news, if you use pandora, or can use pandora, check this out.. its a flash/java plugin that snaggs songs off pandora and saves them onto your computer.

its called pandoras jar, ive had good luck with the standalone version but not the other ones, so thats a link, it will help if you know a thing or 2 about computers...
also plz dont ask for help from me...

ummm... other then that not much is going on, were hoping to have another party tonight.. and ive been thinking about getting a street bike..

oh and were also thinking about moving to vegas for the summer, like june - november or something..

also as of late, been gettin sessions on like a boss, u guys remember the koolaid squeeze bottle things?

there called koolaid burst.

we were out grocery shopping yesterday and found these and bought like 8 packs of um, i grab like 2 of these and a redbull and get to work.

wow, that is one hell of a computer story. Never heard of someone shocking their computer to death, hahaha. Yeah I can't think of any specific "fix a computer" stores in boulder other than the Mac store on the hill... Everyone I know would always just take it to comp usa... i've always had a dell and they send someone out to the house, so not sure where you should go.

GL fixing it - that really sux balls. I get so tilted when my computer stops doing basic shit. I recently had to remove all my antivirus shit since it was killing my ability to game. sadly I haven't been able to fix the games but I'm not re-adding that antivirus cause I realized how much slower my comp was with it.

i thought comp usa went outa business so i havent been there.. i think its an empty building.. but im not sure.

i got a new keyboard now and im not really sure if i like it or not.. gonna have to run my vigorous shock test on it b4 i decided to keep it or not.

well i dont know how to "ground a computer"(unless he just meant putting it on a surface that generates no static electricity) but i know that a very basic thing when working with computers is to ground yourself, touching any metal part before messing with components or you can fry them

computers chassis' are ground by the power supply being plugged in over here, do u guys not have an earth cable in your power cables or something? lol

it was there last time I went by and I swear that was like a week ago. The only one I know of in boulder is off 30th between brdwy and walnut. That the same one you're talking about? Kinda opposite the new 29th st mall movie theatre.
