Today's summary:

Commentary:

Loss of focus (KQo) cost me $30+ today. And one very questionable play (AKo) cost me another $25. These were both situations where I could have just flatted the river, but instead I pushed.

With more than half of the month behind me, I'm down $32.50. I'm hovering right at the 20BI mark for 50NL, but I still feel like I have a strong hold on what's going on at the tables. I'll continue 9-tabling 50NL, and re-evaluate my position at the end of the month.

I made a couple pretty good moves against known pla<x>yers, but my sloppy fucking retarded-as-shit hands pretty much negated them. Having one of these per session is not acceptable, and unless I can fix it, I'm definitely going to need to decrease my tables.

Please berate me.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234145 DUMBSHIT HAND #1 I put villain on exactly a set/JJ/QQ, and for some reason, I thought pushing would be a good move here. On a scale of 1-5 (5 being most-retarded), how retarded is this push?

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234149 DUMBSHIT HAND #2 This is really bad, and I'm sort of embarrased posting it, but...tough love. I don't know why I didn't c-bet the flop. I didn't notice the board pair on the turn; even after I said "fuck", I still didn't notice that the board paired. When he tabled 22, I thought that I had won the hand. Just a total mental breakdown on my part.

Hands of Note:

How bad is the turn check? I didn't see a whole lot of value betting it. As played, anyone try to get more value on the river?

JJ no good my friend.

I'm constantly undervalueing 2-pair in unraised pots. Something I need to work on.

I really think you should start playing on less tables for a while. Try like 5-6 tables and see if your winrate increases. I did that myself and currently i'm alot more focused and playing better then when i was playing 8. Once you start winning on a regular basis you can increase the ammount of tables again.

Why is your Flop AF so INSANELY high? I mean, I cbet almost every flop 1on1 and I reraise donkbets almost all the time, but mine is still not above 6..
Do you cbet every single flop regardless of how many players are in the hand, or what?

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

This must have been a weird session, if you look at my past stats, my FAF is usually 4.5-5.5.

12 is standard short term variance obv

will look at hands later

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

bad turn.. looks ok as long as u fold on a spade river (where u beat almost nothing)

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234145
calling down is fine to a certain extent, just note that he reminraises pf w/ AA on river tho id probably put in a 3x raise to 18 to rep a busted flush draw AA is just a cooler

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234149
u dont have to raise so much on this river, its a paired board u dont want to play a huge pot on the river, id consider checking turn too unless i feel i have some FE vs his range
i'd probably raise river to like $11-$12

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234153
9-10 preflop cuz u are a little deeper
idk i suck at these spots, u have to cbet cuz u 3bet pf tho so i guess this is okay.. just preflop its not good, too little

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234154
just bet the turn

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234155
uhm, what is this? lol :D might as well 3bet it pf.. this is too small of an open and this is a bad flop to try anything like this shit (which isnt really worth doing in the first place)

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234156
bet the turn and probably good to 3bet the flop and play for stacks vs most guys

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234157
lol? u expect him to call off 2 buyins with a weaker ace.. this is really -ev, he's gonna turn up with sets only in this spot
sometimes i like to 4bet pf here to 18 (3xhisRR) just because we're deep and he people tend to 3bet light a lot more with 3x just because they have position but calling is okay

in this spot its probably good to check/call down or if he checks flop we lead turn/river for value

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/234158
too loose of an open.. flop play isnt fantastic but it worked=o
