im not much of a watch connoisseur (i own a $100 fossil watch, i think its pretty sweet though) but those really don't look like $5k and $500 watches :[

Im actually 200nl and I have over 100buy-in for it. And I paid the freakin thing using the FPPs that I got in less than 2 month! And Im just playin poker for fun since I have some assests that pay all my expenses and stuff so that I don't have to work.

As far as the reason for watch being that costly. I have no idea why u guys think its so costly cause like I said its one of the cheapest swiss watch u can basically get. Here are some sites that are selling swiss watches just brows for yourself and try to find ANYTHING less than 4-5k

The whole point is that u guys just dont know what an average price for a swiss made watch is. Its an item that u get and last you a lifetime. Its like a wedding-ring and other shits like that.

think people are trying to say they wudnt spend that much on any watch, and the fact that its swiss is completley irrelivent for them, since most people just want a watch that looks good and tells the time and you can often pick up one of those type watches for under $300.

however u clearly kno a lot bout watches and ur happy with ur purchase especially since its just FPP's as well, so why do people care!!

its like most things in life, bragging rights! buying a $5k watch is baller!

I hate watches but if he likes them and it'll last him a lifetime I think it's a pretty good investment. Think of how much he'll use that piece of metal!

Hm , 5 K for a watch seems way too much money.
For me , a watch has to look good and show the time . There are lots of 100-200$ watches who fit that expectations.
But on the other hand i bought 2 drumsets ( 1 accoustic and an elektro kit for practice purpose) when i was 17 and didnt even have income ( except for holdiay work 1000$ year). I spend around 4000 $ just cause i loved drumming and drum sets.

He loves watches.
He has income from Poker
He will have this 5K watch for a long time.


Other people spend 800$ year for cigarettes. Which is alot more dump then buying a beautiful 5K watch.
