yep thats what every single good poker player has to do at least once. Being honest with himself and learning from his mistakes instead of being like "ah man I used to play blabla and now i'm just grinding the micro limits" That kind of attitude brings you no where, learning from them and not giving up and not have regrets makes you on the other hand a winner in the long term.
I remember when I went busto at NL 400 I felt like shit for a while until I realized how glad I was that I did this. Everything I had learned from it and especially the bankroll management. I told myself I was lucky to have had that experience and that I would never go busto again and i'd just restart from the point that I had skipped, and started back grinding with 20$ but I was happy because I felt confident.
Downswings and bad luck often coincide with bad play at some points, everyone has leaks and I know it's hard to find them when you are running bad but I think its what makes a winning player, being able to stay calm and really focus and fix leaks even when the luck isn't on your side for an extended period of time
So anyways, i'm a bit high I didn't think it would be this big.. but just sayin' there's still hope and If I could start back griding from NL 400 to NL 2, you can definately do it with a 200$ roll  |
