Hey guys,
came out to LV to test the waters.
First couple cash sessions were hell to say the least, then had a great session at the mirage and a deep run in some $300 100ks.
Got a great room with a fellow player here and his girl, place is extremely nice for a great price.
So if ur in LV just drop me a msg, i'll post some pics when i get to it with my phone, really nice place.

you gonna relocate to vegas? I'm tellin you man live poker is where it's at for American players these days. It's easy, it's social, and you arent pent up on a hotel room all day feeling like a degen. Just the simple act of having to roll out of bed, get dressed, and go something adds balance to your life. You feel like you have a real job. |

really you enjoy the social aspect newb? i don't wear headphones cuz of all the free info but i hate listening to poker people. I'm not anti social but talking with poker people is like hanging with druggies. if they are winning (high) they are motor mouthing and full of _artificial_ good cheer and favor OR if they are losing (hungover) they are nasty and bitter infecting you with their mental state.

I guess it just depends on the table. I've had an angry reg on occasion cursing out other players, and super quiet tables with 4 old asian men, but most of the time there's always someone worth saying something humorous to that gets the table talking. I dunno I just dont seem to have a problem enjoying myself live. I actually like sitting at the felt and betting with chips. It's a very hands-on kind of game that stirs me. I just played a session of NL5 online and found it boring as fuck, to the point of being stressful. I hate online so much. |
