need help with windows language settings

Found this: go to start menu and type in cmd to open the command line prompt, and try using this command if you want to change this without translating the whole Windows UI

But this is where you change the display language (I don't have an additional language so I don't have that option, but you should)

hmm, everytime i try typing that stuff into the command window it tells me 'intlcfg.exe is not recognized as...' - Ex:



display language is already set for english in control panel.

Does it do this in other browsers besides chrome?

sounds like you accidently downloaded a laguage pack on the windows update thing, you may be able to restore your computer to a time before this problem, windows usually creates restore points at every update

hah...i just checked and surprisingly, no it does not. everything is english in both Firefox and IE.

it's still a problem though because all the toolbar/menus for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. are in spanish....

but it just changes how it corrects spelling and stuff of text that i input, all the menus and stuff are still in spanish.

just move to mexico :3.

prob u download chrome from wrong link, something like http://site.com/es/ try unistall and download english version.

mehh, can't find the recovery disc (no i didn't pirate it t.t)

now that i think about it i think the problem started when i got my laptop repaired in Argentina, maybe the repair guy put a diff version of windows on it?

search lenguaje configuration



select english if u have, and if not try add english lang.

prob u cant add eng lang if u havent full version.

if this not change to english, uninstall full google chrome and re download installer from english page using mozilla or IE and try installing again.
