but you can buy lap-mat things that give a cushion between your legs and the notebook. That way your balls wont get too hot and the notebooks cooling fans wont be blocked up by your clothing.

FYI it's the heat, not radiation, which causes sperm count to go down. As far as I know there are many studies which have validated this reduction.

This is like 98% of the reason. Heat kills your sperm. That's why your balls arent held internally, as in, in a more secure location. They hang outside your body because the optimal temp is sub 98 degrees farenheit.

Also globally, there is some sort of Children-of-Men phenomenon where men are becoming increasingly semi-sterile. Sperm counts have been decreasing since the 1900's and conceiving has become increasingly difficult as well. I forget all the specifics in how they measured but it was a fairly good study. Some theories they offered was increasing technology and the radiation from these sources.

Fwiw, i had a broken phone for 4 weeks, and not having my phone 2 inches from my junk gave me bigger loads. Never really found my phone all that warm, but i also don't really want to attribute it to the radiation from the phone either.

Also partially yes on the radiation since there were studies saying wi-fi may cause an issue but nothing has come of those studies, ditto having cell phones in your pocket.

Use ur laptop on ur lap all u want. If you in the future have issues and ur diet, weight, etc are all fine THEN consider not placing your laptop on ur lap. Until that time you're just being paranoid.

because it isn't really proven to have an effect during active daily laptop use to be hurting ur sperm and the problem is reversible anyway. Example of why I wouldn't worry about this. You may get a flat tire from driving your car, this doesn't mean you just never drive the car or that you constantly check the tire pressure every hour, you just keep a spare tire in case shit happens you can fix it. Really poor analogy cuz i'm tired but gist is that it is extremely unlikely anything bad will happen and even if it does it is reversible.

Guess slightly better comparison would be, you may get sick if you go and hang out people. That doesn't mean you just never hang out, it just means if you get sick you rest up for a bit.
