******ANOTHER UPDATELOL******* Added link to a post about the 10 Negative Emotions
******UPDATELOL****** Added a link to a thread at the bottom

Heya!!

I've got some thoughts, so I'll try my best and filter through them as coherently as I can.

Liquid poker!!

Great site, awesome and stuff. HOWEVER!!! Lately... It's been kinda shit, for the first time I got the same feeling as I get when I notice I'm about to type in "Facebook" up in the left corner there.

That's not good, not good at all. So when that happened I started squinting with my eyes, I became all thinky!! (Yes, that's a word, I looked it up).

When I open Liquid and I see a new long post by Longple, Ket, or people who write equally impressive posts I get quite excited and happy, I look forward to it, and I usually don't start reading right away. I get all comfy, get drinks and want to make sure I read it properly and take it all in.

I think this is because posts like that brings substance, depth, value, whatever words you want to use. That's what drew me to LP in the first place. I don't like communities that are too big, dislike not recognizing names, what they're like, what they typicly write like, traits, humour, shit like that.

Lately (please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure some of you will even if I'm not wrong lol) I've noticed more and more posts I consider as "noise", just crap, nothing of value, blogs so poorly written you're worried you got a little dumber just by looking at it, stupid trolls, ego boosting n whatnot. (I just took all the rage here in one go, from here on out it'll be a lot brighter and cheerful).

I even contemplated, toyed, played around with the idea of maybe not visiting LP in awhile after I saw that last D_Smart_(random letter here which I can't remember) post.

But that'd be the newbie thing to do. What have I done to lp to contribute lately? LOL, nothing, I just lol in some posts here and there, or try to be sarcastic, funny or throw in a little irony here and there. Blerk!!

So yeap, this is my own call to action post. Time to contribute a little more to Lp, or die in the attempt to do so =]

I'd love to maybe fill some General forum slots with whatever I feel like writing about. I've not been lazy or anything, I'm maybe a little egotistical, I usually just read/write stuff for the sake of doing it, and it's all mine, mine, mine, and I store it away somewhere.

It does however make me feel a little......... After awhile, and I do get some sort of rush, feeling of accomplishment when I do share, sharing is caring longple used to say.

And my logic is this; If I just try to do whatever I can to help, share ideas, take up concepts, throw out food for thoughts to the community, imagine how awesome if more people ship in with what they're good, or excell at, share their knowledge, stories n crap like that. (Like Puerto, he ships in his thought here and there, and he's doing his own thang with the MMA thingy). I think It'd be quite amazing, imagine 5-6 KET posts in a day? (Not that they all have to be written by Ket, but same quality).

Ok, getting too mushy. I'm a run in the hall, grab some notes and start making posts in the general forum RIGHT NOW xD

Oh!! And when I'm done, I'll add links to the first few posts I make in this Blog, right underneath my rants, until the blog get knocked down from one of the other featured posters, yeap.

Ok, made a Thread:

What do you like about Norway so much?

The biggest Rockets, Sixers, and Grizzlies fan you will ever meet!

The water, it's very, very good.

The air, very, very clean.

The food, very, very healthy.

When you're sick, in trouble, you still can live comfortably, you get help, no need to worry about those kinda things.

It doesn't feel as corrupt and "stupid" as a lot of other cultures. Have a sense of certainty that the people running things are more just and propper. (Might be inaccurate though lol).

My family lives in Norway lol.

I guess the nature n shit is really pretty.

Ok, that's all I could think of, top of my head.

I've never been to Norway but I know about 1/2 a dozen norwegians fairly well and they are all extremely solid people. It seems like especially Norway and that part of the world in general is producing a way above average number of smart, capable, and morally rich people.

Oj, questions, yay. I'll answer them super honestly!!

What are you doing for a living?

I have a part time job, it's only 50%. And it got given to me in a meeting with 2 of my shrinks, an advisor and a government kinda person. (This was all pretty fun and surreal xD).

My task is suppose to be maintaing a blog for a small company, and fix a facebook page and maintain it. They just changed venue, so in the top floor it's a store, they sell stuff, and in the basement a huge kitchen like thingy. In the cellar they are ment to make food, sell it to the rest of the building, stuff like that.

So far I've just gone around the building fixing computers, which is lol, since I know very little to nothing about fixing computers. I just delete the viruses, put on some scans and that usually does the trick lol.

A few years back I sustained myself on Poker, I played a mix of 100nl and 200nl. But they just stole my money, and I couldn't get it back. And I acted all newbish and started gaming instead of re-grinding. And by that time I was very sick. My body didn't take up most food with sugar in it, and I didn't know.

Rest of the cash is from Rehabilitation money I get from the Government, and I have money to "flow" on here and there. During summer I usually travel with Dokosoko, and so far I've won every time I've been on one of them trips. I won around 8000e last summer, and I won around 2000 in December playing live.

I do spend A LOT of money on food though, I need super food, and I love it lol. A lot of it bought at health stores. So don't have a lot of money, but on the upside, I've gotten A LOT healthier lately.

Are you ever planning to leave Norway?

I have thought about it a lot, but I'd need to fix myhealth first. I've got this solid system around me. A really good Doctor that takes care of me, a good fysiotheapist, 3 shrinks and an awesome (pretty good looking) advisor. + My dad and siblings.

I would have to be able to maintain myself, money wise, and be able to live for a bit without having to come home for the medicin and stuff like that. But I do long (for combat) LOL. Ok, sorry, couldn't help myself.

I do long to live outside of Norway. I do feel a little out of place, most people live in conformity. Love Football, watch TV and have 9 - 5. I do feel I don't fit in. I have Somatic suffering as my primary dysfunction, and a weird one. When things get boring, or I get bored, I get physical ailments. I need to learn something, or grow, or talk about concepts, ideas. I get sad when things get mediocre lol.

That's why I love just talking English so much, I feel it's x10 more powerful and exciting than Norwegian. I feel A LOT more alive talking to people outside of Norway, people show more masks, more color, talk, open up, it's terribly exciting lol.

What are your thoughts about reading books/not reading regularly?

I think it's awesome!!! I get depressed if I don't read lol. And I love this quote.

"Leaders are Readers"

Not that I'm the leadery type, still like it lol. I think it's super important to stimulate your thoughts, your mind. You really are what you think of most of the time. Just thinking of shit, and you quickly becoming shit.

Most important thing a human can do is to eat food, healthy food, and to take in nourishment in form of knowledge, stimuli I suspect.

I know that some people take in knowledge differently, and the form of reading might not be their cup a tea. But take it from me, my attention span for reading when I was younger was around 7 seconds.

That means, if you take me to a gym, I could lift 2kg weights, that's about it. You need to work at it to be able to take in a lot more, and keep at it. It's one of them things that people link to something "boring, zzzz, work, hassle" so forth, and it's the complete oposite, it increases your sense of fulfilment, your contendness throughout the day, week by a lot. But we tend to go for INSTANT gratification, desire, what's good right now. Instead of increasing your overall awesomeness.

What stakes are you playing at the moment?

I've hardly played any poker lately, I had a burst in December, January, but after that It's been really quiet.

I have last few weeks been looking through sites to find out where I have some money left. I found 3 sites with around 350 dollar on each. So it feels daunting to start building from micro and up. Might not been that smart to cash out as much as I did, I just got a new place and I felt I needed the money. I had a good stake going where I was grinding 200nl, and I cashed out most when the stake ended. I think it ended cuz my mate was down 100.000k euro from the same guy lol. And now we ain't getting a new one lol.

I thought I might give Diablo 3 a go, see if I could live in that somehow. So hardcored that, 15-16 hours a day first 8 days, got to Act 4 Inferno, and felt it wasn't all what I thought and hoped it would be. And I realized most people who were earning things had a lot of bots set up. So quit. Went back to walking in the forest, reading books, articles and watching insightful youtube channels.

Who's you're favourite SC2 Player?

Well... The old BW pro's just switched xD So if you have them in it's standard answer, the 4 Pillars of E-sport.

If I can't pick any of them, It's also probably a "standard" answer, got to go with either Hero or STephano, for their clever play, quick wit and awesome micro xD

Although, I was rooting for Hero as one of the first. At the start of SC2, when I was "foolish" thinking about, omg, what if I go pro, I can commentate better than them super commentators, I can make a living out of thiz lolz. First I need to just get GM league, and I played a lot for a month, got really high in masters, then "didn't feel it" and I quit. But back then I really loved watching Hero. When Huk was winning them Mlg's, I was like, holy shit, this Hero guy is better than Huk in virtually all aspects, he'll start to wreck shit up.

Ok, yay. I'm done xD
