In defense of Internet Explorer

Chrome is the business yo! You can open tabs Incognito, so you dont have to delete your history anymore ;D

The only time you should use Internet Explorer to access the web is
to download a normal browser. Its the first thing I uninstalled from my new laptop.

how can you hate chrome when it goes 5x faster than all the others?

Actually IE has improved leaps, and ive read that IE9 isnt bad at all.

Firefox is huge and unstable, ill probably switch to chrome soon

at first glance I said obv noob, being that you are using IE for so long, but I gave you a chance and then your rant was full of so much noob that, well, it goes without saying for users of IE.

Firefox updates barely ever? I can vaguely remember the last time and it was for no script and took 1 sec? Why would you ever want to be on a browser that was "safe" to use for all of 3 months in the last 5 years...if you think FF is bloated, use chrome but for fuck sakes, GTFO off IE or just go back to AOL

1. I don't care if Firefox is protecting me from the bad people if you have to spend 10 minutes every time I fire it to update then its an unusable fucking browser. And no I don't want a million add-ons to get features you should have as default.

It doesnt take 10minutes and isnt everytime you open it. It auto-updates from time to time, but if takes you 10minutes then something is wrong with your PC or internet connection, not FF. Also you can disable the auto-updates for FF and add-ons (Tools>options> Advance tab) If you dont want the add-ons you dont have to install them, but not every feature must be as default as you state, that obviously would make it harder to update and etc.

2. Chrome, fuck off. I don't care about google+, I don't use gmail, stop forcing the whole google thing on me, all I wanted was your browser.

3. Opera, stop displaying my porn sites everywhere for friends and family to see.

On the quick acces tab, right click on the little windows and then delete them, if you click on the tool icon, you can set a custom background image, and then in configuration you can set www.google.com as default window

4. When I hit new tab I want google to come up. Why do I have to navigate away from a blank page through a series of menus every time I open a new tab? why is explorer the only browser on the web that is capable of taking me to the home page?

why you want google?, on FF if you want to search something you have another bar to the right side of the adress bar where you can search something on google, also you can set Google as default search engine, if you do that you can just type whatever you want to search on the adress bar and it would automaticly take you to google with the search results. Even better if you set FF with Feeling Lucky of Google, in that case i can just type liquid poker, press enter and take me here

5. I'm a starcraft player and a gamer in general, I idly spam clicks, a lot. Pokerstars drove me nuts until I figured out how to stop it bringing up options every time I right clicked. As I type this I can't tell which random clicks keep telling Opera to go back a page, at least it saves this post for me.

Explorer has none of the above 5 problems whereas the browsers I've tried so far have most/all of them. It has by far the easiest to navigate interface/tools etc. especially for those who are tech illiterate like me. I know people like to quote speed and security as I.E.'s faults but any differences there are totally unnoticeable to 99% of the world so unless any tech-guys want to quote numbers at me or something proving its incompetence then its definitely the best browser on the web.

I've NEVER had a problem with FF

FF crashes for me sometimes and it's happening more and more often lately. Might be my OS, though.

Firefox has been freezing and going really slow on both of my computers for a while now. I just switched to chrome and I love it.
