Well I pressed back and I lost everything I wrote so this one will be a shorter summarized version.
1. I'm owning it up at NL10
2. I'm barely spewing and I'm playing soo good. My confidence has been restored hugely.
3. I have over 20 BI for NL25.. last time I took shots I had around 16 (I'm very disciplined when it comes to moving down). I can move up at any time really.
4. I'm happy with my stats.. They are now looking like a proper 6max player's, not a FR supernit.
5. Very happy with HEM so far, I think I will very well buy it. Seems much lighter (resource wise) than PT3 and does everything I really need it to do.
why is it that at the start of the session my thinking is clear and my gameplan is fine, i'm patient and fine stealing bb's at a decent rate. then as time passes my thoughts become muddled, my thinking donkish, and i start spewing like a retard?
how can i be tilting at 25nl, its simple abc wait for a hand poker. i mean i played pretty good, but then at some point i just lose it after some coolers and lose my focus.
tomorrow i'm going to play when i'm in a good frame of mind. i SHOULD know that its -ev when i'm tired, sloaching in my chair, and in a general bad mood, but it just hasn't "clicked" yet. :/

Well, its been a while since my last blog post and a really long time since i have posted anything about poker in my blog..
here are some things for august my biggest month ever so far doubling my bankroll. I played nl10 for a long time taking multiple shots at nl25 and crashing and burning horribly. im no lachlan i cant just shoot up to nl400
-my bankroll hit over $1000 for the first time and i took a shot at NL50, i tried to practice some good table selection but it seemed very nitty and a lot of the tables had big wait lists
i definitely feel i can beat nl50 but i did notice i was playing a bit scared money even though i had the roll so i decided to move down after losing 1 buyin
right now i know i need to work on my tilt control, i can usually just get up from the computer but its hard on weekends when there are just unreal fish playing at these stakes

Have decided I'm costing myself too much money not just grinding my ass off at cash. Only going to play MTTs on Sunday. I wanted to kill someone Tuesday and Wednesday nights playing large MTT slates. Pretty comfy at 6 max right now. Hope to make alot of money/FPPs just grinding next month.
Oh yeah...running hot in sports betting too...but that's short lived as I def get demolished tomorrow in opening day of college football.
EDIT2: Before anyone takes this the wrong way, I'm not actually THAT titled - I don't even have to move down (although I probably will play less 5/10 just for a while). It just feels good to rage a bit :D
Anyway, even though I have ran pretty bad it's not like I'm without leaks, and I don't consider myself to be "one of the best 5/10 players at ipoker" by any stretch, I'm probably a dog in many of the games but I generally table select well.

After losing WCGUK to Midian (again lol) I finally threw in the towel with Starcraft and decided to give poker a real shot. I got pretty good at microstakes around Christmas but hadn't really played since then because I got absolutely owned in January and lost half my roll. I'd cashed out most the rest and just left $120 in there. So I started poker again 17 days ago with $120 playing 2nl. I gave myself a 4 tables max rule because my 12 table style was high variance and low skill and I didn't feel I'd improve with it.
I spent like 5 days getting to $200 on 2nl because I was 4 tabling and I suck at 2nl. Once there I spent 9 days (including 3 days off to turn 20) to get to $500. Once there I spent 3 days getting to $1000. I'd only ever been to 50nl once before and I got completely owned so I was really quite nervous about it. Especially because I believe that I'm not really owning anywhere near as much as the results suggest, I'm just luckboxing. Anyway, after speaking to Midian and Ket I decided 20 buyins = move up. Long story short, I ran like God.
I'd like to thank Ket and Midian because moving up went v well so I'm a fair amount better off thanks to them. I'd also really like to thank Artanis and Silver because having them around to sweat me, review my hands, show me interesting spots, talk through theory with me, argue over playstyles and give their opinions are pretty much the only reason I'm any good at this game. I can't thank the two of them enough for always being willing to make me a better player, regardless of how demanding or whiney I am.
so i'm railing my boy's session at a 100nl hu table and this guy FEARKILLS (something like that) is blatantly tilting and losing doing absurd shit (maybe drunk) he starts challenging my boy to higher stakes. I am willing to play higher than usually and take a shot at him at another 100nl table so i offer.
he thinks im just a dumb railtard with no money so he gives me a table number and says he will give me 300 just to sit.
I am looking for this table a long time only to realize its a 10/20 table.
all this time he has been playing progressively worse and i suspect MAYYYbe just hunting for action higher up but is probably just a tilted moron
i sit with the dude and he won't ship me the 300 like he said and won't play me at a lower table.

damnit, I'm so edgy today... Keep expecting to break the 400$ checkpoint(so I can move up to NL20), but everytime I get close, I start playing like an idiot. It's like I'm one allin away from it, and then I start convincing myself that my hand is good enough when in fact I would fold it on any other day.
Shit. Was at ~390+ on 2 occasions today, and everytime I made idiotic moves. Finished the day with some heavy monkeying around and BR standing at $366.
Pokerwise I actually win a bit right now so that's nice. I'll end august up maybe 4-5k €. Not good, but considering a couple of failed 10/20 shots and a serious lack of hands played (less then 30k) I'm ok with it. Especially since my two last month both was the best two months ever for me pokerwise.
IRL I'm getting killed.
1. Some girl I know came by and borrowed a couple of books for school. When she went out I told my friend that she was "Dum som stryk", or "dumb as fuck", which she kinda isn't. She can't write stuff for shit cause she's from some Camel-country and not that used to the Swedish language or w/e but she's really nice and somewhat bright. Whatever, I wanted to make a joke and for that joke to be funny she needs to be stupid. Apparently the window was open cause now her name on msn is something like "If you've got something to say; say it too my face, don't go behind my back and talk crap".
2. My roommate dragged me along to a stupid bar to meat a couple of his friends yesterday. I was told a slutty girl would be there. He told me he was ok with me hitting on said slutty girl, but not the other two cause he had slept with them. Does not compute but w/e. Said slutty girl wasn't there so the line up was pretty much me, him, funny geek-dude, standard annoying frat boy low life and c couple of girls. Non pretty, one with a boyfriend, one who looked lesbian (but has had sexy-time with roommate) and a somewhat fat girl my friend ended up going home with.
3. Due to said fat girl my friend once again took the lead in our getting laid race, he's currently in the lead 2-1.
4. Girl who's crazy as hell, which is one of my turn ons, said she'd never let anythingfrom Gävle (my home town) touch her body again due to her being stranded there today while trying to get a train back to sthlm. I hope to fuck her monday, hopefully my main man won't be able to increase his lead before that.
I might want to try and get something this weekend too, just in case. It's getting stressful.
Got back out of my 2 week downswing (winning back like 8-12 buy-ins, whatever) in a week time and even got up 2.5 buy-ins and I thought it was smooth sailing upwards once again, NOT !!! Lee Jones hates my guts...

Finally started running better, for few days i got sucked out much less until today the crap began again =). At one point i recovered and felt confident and today i got crushed again =[
after taking a fairly long break from poker due to vacation and school, I finally came back a few days ago. grinded out nl10, started nl25 today and wow, what a fucking rollercoaster. I just quit after I lost $150 in two consecutive hands that were two outers. for most of the ballers around here that is a drop in the bucket, but I feel pretty sick right now. I made this prop bet mainly for the challenge.
As I told gawdawaful before the bet started, the real challenge starts when everyone comes back
I played the most amount of hands I've ever played at once - at least I call it at once
I played about 5 thousand hands, and then I took a nap for about an hour and was woken up to the chaos here so decided to go back at it for another 12 thousand hands you can see what lack of focus or the wrong attitude/outlook can do to your game

Just pulled an all nighter.. session from 1-6am. Going was slow and quite a bit of variance and a couple of bad calls, but overall pretty solid play. Made some hero calls too which I'm quite proud of :D. Can't be arsed to find them atm though.
