Played an absurdly long sesh tonight...games were way too good to quit. Prob take it easy tomorrow and only play the $530 WCOOP and watch some football seeing how I can barely keep my eyes open right now. Getting close to being able to move up to 200NL. Although I may need to stay at 100 for a bit as I may need to withdraw some because I'm such a sports betting degen lol.
Good lord i hate days like this. I've lost 6 buyins in NL 10 so far, part of them to terrible luck and part of them to bad plays. I hate how it took me like the whole week to go up to 150$ and today i lose 60$ in a couple of hours.
Well, i guess that's how one learns :. I just hope not to bust out ( 9 buyins left, 100 ftp more to cash the money from ftp )
Just a heads up for all of you donkament players out there, ipoker is hosting a $1500+80 donkament tomorrow with a 2,5 mill guaranteed. They have been advertising it and running sattelites forever so it should be a huge donkfest like most ipoker donkaments.

after gettin pretty much all my war3 icon'd accounts banned for bad mouthin in dota games... its time to find a new game to play. as of now i havent decide what to play. my plan is to wait for diablo 3 and sc2. god knows how long will that take
i been prettttty interested in investing/trading these days. spent a ton of time reading and researchin in general.
i didnt need that much $ online now since im a big nit so its time to put my $ into work.
school also started for me, unlike my buddy exhilarate, my parents bitches so much if i just take a few semesters off school that i rather just stay in. so obv stayin in school is the most +EV decision
school blows and is totally boring but oh well im in a local university system so the work isnt that hard. i guess i'll endure more years of school work
So I can currently beat the 25NL games on Pokerstars for 6ptbb/100 and I think I am not even near my best winrate because of not running quite as good lately (like 4-5k hand break-even stretch now, pretty standard, running bad, whatever). So I was thinking, I could just grind up on Pokerstars which I have no real trouble with but... maybe I can build my roll lots quicker by doing some bonuswhoring. Now I don't want to be a permanent bonuswhore whatsoever, I really just want to be the best player I can be and eventually just beat the bigger games without relying on bonusses and shit (I know people just grinding bonusses for money and that aren't actually such great players but just marginal winners clearing those bonusses).
But I thought it'd be a great idea to accelerate my roll growing with doing like 1 or 2 good bonusses.
So I was wondering, since I have no experience doing this whatsoever, is it maybe a good idea to do 1 or 2 good bonusses and move back my roll to Pokerstars after that ??
Now I am willing to move my entire 900$ roll for the bonus and I want to clear it like within a month or so (playing 5k hands a week) playing 25NL and possibly 50NL if I can win those 4-5 buy-ins reasonably soon and get it up to 1k.
Now I had a look at the FTP 600$ bonus for 100% but I read that it was reasonably hard to clear on any limit below 100NL and I don't know how to shortstack or whatever so I'd rather clear a bonus full stacking 25NL. So does, anyone have any recommendations or whatever for what are good bonusses to make the bankroll grow ??
Seems im finally confident enough to beat 20nl no more scare money like before ( even thought i was rolled for it i still played scared money dunno why ).Pretty happy about that hope i make about 20-25bi this month and finally have a winning month after 2 break even ones.
Had a pretty boring summer not going out a lot coz most of my friends were working and the others were just out of the country or busy studying for exams half a summer.That is up till 2weeks ago went to Sunny Beach for a week on a vacation.Was fucking awesome i really miss going out to bars & clubs 24/7 and i dont see this happening any time soon with upcoming school n shit.....I can honestly cry & whine about how much i wanna have a clubbing lifestyle for like eternety but who d care :D
the statistically impossible happened today. i was DEEP with ACES. Shoved preflop 3 times. Lost to KK, QQ, JJ. They all made a set. lol?!?!?! funny, cause this only happenes when i am 200bb deep. i just emailed support(this did not happen at stars, at the fucking "12yearold made this software" site.. )
my bank roll was up to 2k mid day but now its down to 1.5k. fucking riduclous day. every time i say "ok 1 more hour then ill do my assignment" i end up losing to a riduclous suck out, a fish has my money and i keep playing to try and eventually and get it back, which happens most of the time. i wait PAITENTLY for my fucking hands playing 14/14, WITH HIM RUNNING 88/40, shove PF with AA, and get owned. JESUS CHRIST
yayaya everyone has their bad beat day. i dun give a flying fuck when i lose to random suck outs. once, twice, 10 times, 20 times. whatever, i just shrug it off and know that they will pay me off later. but this is not called variance. its called fucking doom switched.
of course im whining like a little bitch to feel better about it so dont tell me to just take the bad beats in my stride coz the point of this post is just to let out the anger. first losing day this month.these are only stars hands.
ill still up 400$ in 2.5 days on that donk site when i should be easily at 800$.

oh this is a huge leak i have. i can never get away with from these two type of hands. and these are reraised pots im talking about.
situation 1: flop comes rags. I have an overpair (jj-qq), im getting the money in cause i put him on tp or some fd or sd. he ends up with a higher over pair.

how do you play these hands? if you reraise he shoves if he has a lower overpair or a set. how can you identify his hand and get away from it? i thought it was stats but this fucking 9/8 guy raised utg with 88.board came k84o and i had aces, reraised and he shoved.
these 2 situations are where i lose the huge majority of my money.
