Yesterday I went out to a (shit) club which sucked huge ass, although I had a blunt with me so me and some friends exited the club and got fucked up. It was really fun since I was already really drunk to begin with (I love drink -> smoke (-> awesome)). Anyway, we went to a mcdonalds, which I usually hate but hey, as far as I was concerned all we were doing there was hanging out talking shit n laughing. Outside there was some fights going on, so obviously we stayed and watched, whilst trying to figure out who was fighting who, from where were they, who started it, who knows who.. And like 3 metres away from me, I see a short dude knock the living FUCK out of a tall and skinny guy. People yell back and forth for like 5 minutes then the cops show up bla bla bla. Being the iranian that I am, I gots the fuck out of there cuz I dont want no trouble (fuck 5 0)
Continued the party at my friends house, playing PES 2009 untill we crashed. Today we woke up, wake n baked, played pes the whole day and finished it off with some chinese wok and going to a stand-up club. It was nice, one of the comedians was from Iran (I'm half) so that was cool, he was funny.
Amazing endorsement - not because of who he is, but because of the way he laid it out. I've wanted to put my reasons for supporting Obama into words and Powell did it for me (and much better than I ever could). Listen to Powell lay out WHY Obama:
The chiefs are the worst team in the league for:
1. Herm Edwards is an idiot
2. Herm Edwards can't coach
3. Herm Edwards traded away the best player on the team
4. Herm Edwards is a complete fuck up
5. All of the above....Did I mention he's a fuck up
5 it is. I mean honestly I don't understand how someone doesn't see through this, and the thing that makes it even worse is the chiefs top dogs don't even realize. I mean I would call myself a casual fan and even I know that its time to pull the cord. Look across the state the rams good rid of Linehan now they look like the best team in the league after destroying the cowboys today. Seriously trading away someone proven in his mid twenties for two unprovens just baffles me, but they disguise it by calling rebuilding. Jared Allen isn't even old. Anyway fire Herm cause he puts me on tilt like Neilly does to Sheitan.
She's totally gonna end up with a career in TV after they lose this election, which works out for her cause that was her childhood dream. The Alaska Rap in the weekend update was fucking hilarious too =) Palin is definitely likeable when she's not talking about her views in regards to policy. As a vice president or president she's scary, as a TV personality she's cute and bubbly. Though she really didn't DO anything other than just stand there while being insulted. Her lines kinda fell flat. But I give her credit for being there and smiling through it. Anyway, here's the clips:
And gotta show the final result of the Mark Wahlberg joke:
What all those Karate ,Aikido, Taekwondo and Jiu Jitsu guys mostly dont know =
Fighting hurts
It hurts a lot.
real fighting means feeling pain, no matter if u lose or win the fight
there was some funny scene in my martial arts life i wont ever forget.
1 year ago at my University i met a classmate whos a traditional Taekwondo blackbelt who also studies sports science.
We did some partner practice with shinpads on !
One of us would kick with the shinbone to teh body and the other one would block it with both forearms turning the upper body into the kick.
So he kicked and i blocked. He kicked like a weak pussy since he wasnt used to full contact.
I asked him to kick really hard since there cant happen anything bad with protection pads on.
He kicked hard to my body with his shinbone and i blocked the kick with both bones of my forearms turning into the kick.
Next view seconds he was lying on the floor like screaming in pain......
I was really really surprised asked him : WTF is wrong here ? U kicked me and now u whine like a girl cause u feel pain ?
he told me that he has so much pain at his shinbone now that he cant do a 3rd kick ... and that we should change now and i do the kicking stuff while he is blocking.
I did a shinbone kick to his body with shin protection on and he did the exact same block i did before.
This time again he was screaming : Stop stop my foreamrs hurt like hell ....
This was some very enlightening momment for me.
Some people who have the tiltle of being a master at Martial Arts dont know the most basic thing about fighting. It hurts !
There are Blackbelts in traditional Martial arts out there who dont know the most simple basic principle about real fighting. It hurts.
Plz dont call out on me being an asshole who hurts people.
1.) He is a blackbelt and did traditional martial arts for 7 years !!!!
2.) we had protections on !!!!
3.) i did the same excersice with my MMA partners 100 times and nobody ever complained !
So u may ask :
If fighting hurts that much then why would u ever do it.
Dont u feel pain while fighting ?
Well i feel pain while fighting.
If u get kneed to the body ellbowed to the head or simply ure low kick gets blocked by opponents shinbone ( without protection in a ring)... it does amazingly hurt.
So why do u still fight when u feel pain while doing it.
Its kinda strange.
For the most part u get kinda used to it and after a while u simply dont care about the pain.
U get hit hard and feel like : " WOW fuck this hurts" for a split second and then after that moment where u realize the pain u simply dont care about it anymore. And get back to the exciting fun part
Here is a nice video about MMA with a fitting NIN song.
My reason for writing this is that at the moment i feel quite a lot of pain at like 20 different places of my body.
And this always reminds me of the funny story with the taekwondo blackbelt
It's been said over and over before, but jesus, casino poker is so easy lol
My girlfriend's out of town for the weekend and I got off work early so decided to go down to Casino Arizona's poker room and play their 5/150.
It's basically 3/5 spread limit, 150 is the max bet, 350 max buy-in. Kind of a lame structure, but apparently true NL is illegal in AZ?
I bought in for 300, and my table was gold. Nobody really raised, there was only two people sitting who covered me, it was so simple to just raise in position and let them check/fold every flop. I did dip a while when my top set got owned by some old lady who chased a straight to the river, but meh.
I think half of the table hated me, especially because I was asking a lot of newbie questions since I had only played in a casino twice before, but I cashed 1350 after about 3 hours of ownage Might go back tonight.
Online, I built a roll playing 100NL HU over a couple of days heater, now just playing 50nl 6max and really trying to work on my game. The new responsible gambling thing that stars has is really cool, set a max limit for your tables. So it's really effective against things that used to get me in trouble, like seeing a big fish sit at 1/2 - 2/4 HU. Not even worth looking anymore!
O and I satted into the Sunday Warm-Up twice (2 for 2 on these 6-max 86$ sats with two seats and 3rd gets money back, good deals so I'll probably have about 100k in 9 or 10 hours.

Chip Leader Ceasar's $1500 eventby thewh00sel, October 19
ive got 810k blinds 3k/6k with 15 left. 1st is 85k. Also, Michael Phelps is there and still in. Here's a picture to prove im fa realz. Apparently he's been playing poker for 4 years and he's actually pretty solid/knows a ton of high stakes regs.
I've felt like I've understood poker for a while. I get ranges, equity, pot odds, all the math stuff. I'm good at picking up patterns and exploiting them. But I just this week got the concept of ALWAYS iso-raising + c-betting weaktight players. It is free money. OMG. It is free money. THIS IS FREE MONEY.
I'm drunk ps. But seriously this makes the game so much easier.
AND I was chatting with the old man for what seemed like hours, listening to him like we were a couple of homeless guys on the street, hovering over the industrial keg with no where to go, and then he started saying something that caught my attention,
"What I mean is, typically rules constrain the individual because of the social connotations that they hold on a person, it is rude to act this way, or poisonous to act another. In the case of poker--whether it be a hobby lifestyle or even dream--and like many potentially addictive games thus, it carries with it, at least as far as the contemporary social world is concerned, the "degenerate" connotations, and images of yellow skinned smokers huddled over an oval table in dim light, all addicted and broke. The rule being broken in this case is that invisible criteria that is filtering our social worlds which fits us into categories that people judge us with, with which we also judge ourselves with. There are of course a muddle of causality issues that go with this as well: whether or not our own judgments on ourselves--leading in some cases to depression, confidence and or self image issues--are influenced by the social world itself, regardless of that however, and to the point: there an increasing desire to be insane, which brings with it it's own rules and boundaries, a lift from these social contraptions,"
"Insane?" I interrupted.
"It is in fact the only real means to breaking free from the chain, though there are those among us who are naturally living in their own box, their sense of self is not affected by the external but is an internal process which lets them to move forward in a situation regardless of any bearings: these are those individuals with a particular gravitos about them, a sense that they will still be scaling up the mountain face to completion whether they reach the top, or fall off the face to hit the bottom, long after you leave their presence." at this point in the conversation the man who had been hiding in the shadows behind the old man, suddenly popped out to me, I don't know how long we was there but all of a sudden he became clear and with a single stride forward as elegant as a swan, stood behind the old man, at which point the old man without a groan--and even now as I recall can't remember hearing so much as the friction of fabric--collapsed to the ground, and the assailant vanished into the darkness as quickly as he had come.
So the new job is pretty stellar compared to my previous endeavors in the ways of being a working class hero. The project I got into was a pilot and the company got the project because of mine and a few other guys work and I will be the guy that makes all of the new McCafes at Mcdonalds work.
Basically I go into the stores and depending on whether it's a de-install or a re-install I basically do the networking for the store and set up the new registers and stuff. I make $150 per store I do and right now im only doing 2 stores a night but here pretty soon we will start doing 3 a night. Since I'm working on the road I also get paid $580 a week per diem which if you dont know what is, it's money for living on so hotel, food, etc. It's basically impossible to spend all of that so I also bank probably 1/2 to 1/3 of that a week.
As far as poker goes I play a bit, I haven't really been motivated to work at it or towards the 100k goal yet and I'm not gonna really push that. I'll just play and see what happens I guess.
I want to start investing my money that I have sitting around but the stock market really blows and I dunno what else there is to invest into when money is shitty so I'll be looking to be buying some poker action or staking in +EV situations for now or until I find something to start sticking lots of money into so if you are looking for something like that let me know.
I also recently wrecked my truck and it's totaled so I have to get a new vehicle sometime but I'm not gonna be at home but maybe a week or so total a month so I hate to buy something where my payments will be $500 a month and insurance will be a lot too when I can't justify having it for a few nights a month. I don't really know what to do about my vehicle situation yet but I'm saving lots of money and will probably just wait til I have enough cash to pay upfront for whatever I'm getting.
Also, I'm still losing weight and I'm nearing my perfect weight (few lbs off) I wish I could start working out but it's really hard when I'm only in one place for a few weeks and then I go to another city. I'm currently in Portland so if you're around here let me know and maybe we can meet up and do something.
4 hour break even session...started the day off losing 5 BIs, had to rebuild all day. so gay. i got mad at a hand and threw my some hair gel that was on my desk at the wall, so now my room smells like gel because it went everywhere =[ tilt tilt
oh well, could've been worse. released another $20 from the bonus and also FINALLY started getting rakeback
little big planet gets delayed.. pretty weak, but at the same time, i'm still finishing up Tales of Vesperia for 360 so at least i got more time to finish it
So, i don't like the layout, and i don't like the format, i don't like the fact that i have about 10 seconds to act b4 it folds my cards, making multitabl'ing 4 tables nearly impossible...(they mucked AQ twice and 10's three times...). Playingwise, the first two times i had aces, they got cracked, and they only been cracked thru about 80K hands on Pstars 3-4 times...
I flopped 2 pair 3 times just to be called by a draw, twice a gutshot, and they hit...
so i was down like 4 bi's on 10nl within like 45 minutes...
Not good since i bought in w/ 75...
So i instadroppeddown to 4nl and made $20 in about half an hour. Today i made another 20, (and inbetween lost like 2 bi on 4nl) so my br on cake is at about 62...
Not bad...i like the competition, they're all idiots. Just need luck for the 10nl game.
I have a friend who took all his money off of poker during exams because the AUD was so low (he took of $3k USD and got something like 3.5k AUD back) and now that he's finished exams he wants to play again.
But because the AUD is so low he doesn't want to deposit yet, what I proposed was that he can play on my account and we can just netbank each other the profits/loss, meanwhile I get some free VPPs
I was just wondering if stars would have problems with this or be able to pick up on it?
