After 2 days of going breakeven eventually after long grinds, today has been a more pleasant day. I've only played around 1.3k hands, but that doesn't matter as I ran well and played my A game. Might play some more later; not sure yet.

Played about 70 games 8 tabling at a time. Started at about $430, went down to around $390, then finished up $10 at $440. Ran pretty bad, I got AA cracked twice in a row by A9 and A3 aipf (trip 9s and wheel straight). I also lost an abnormal amount of 40-60s, but of course I sucked out my fair share as well.

Random curiosity: what are the bankrolls of the higher stakes players of LP? What about the bankrolls of the people who play nosebleed stakes? When I joined this site, I was expecting to find some sort of bankroll thread where people posted their rolls to brag.

How the fuck do I see all my NL20 hands. I played on CDPoker before, now I play on Propaganda Poker. I have different player names. How do I see it ALL TOGETHER FFS!!

Am I stupid or does this program needs some polishing to make things more logical????????????????

This week has been so bad. I came down with the flu on Wednesday morning. Then on Wednesday afternoon my computer breaks down. Repeated attempts to fix it in my woozy state failed until I finally got it stabilised enough to get all my important data out and reformat on Thursday. Spent the whole of today trying to bring the computer back up to 2008 standard.

What really gets me is the behaviour of my pets. You watch Animal Planet and all these dogs and cats are supposed to sense when their owners are ill and dial 999 with their tongues or something. But not only does my dog bother me incessantly half an hour before dinner while I'm shivering feverishly on the bed, she goes and pees on a floormat which I now have to handwash. Bloody ingrate. The cat insists on sleeping with me at night which makes the backache I have from the fever worse. No empathy whatsoever.

To top it off, I'm losing at poker, partly because I'm waiting for my Pokertracker key and partly because I'm just too woozy to play my top game but too restless to do anything else. Damn.

Hi again, guys. In the past few days i really thought things through and i decided to go for it, plunge into the deep unknown (for me) waters of professional poker. Yesterday i talked to my mother about the pluses and minuses and i tried to explained her how i hate archivating stuff as i did in the job, and wake up at 6AM in ice-cold mornings and deal with the shit traffic of Sofia. Damn, this city is designed for 1/3 of the number of cars driven every day and it sux when u go to work and back home for 2hours+ staying still in the overcrowded buses smelling all the farting and shitty people around you and the gipsies waiting for you to look the other way in order to take yo money... Shit shit transportation in this city! Moreover, i explained her how i can make more money from poker in a week than i do at the job, where i spend almost 1/2 of the salary for eating during the break. She couldn't find enough arguments and I won . For her, poker=roullette. I hate it when she says that many ppl have lost their homes, families, sold their pants in order to keep gambling. She just can't understand that i am not playing against the casino and i am doing fine in this game. She thinks i will be a scumbag, douschebag, a lazy mf with no social life and so on... I just told her she is wrong and she ll see she had been wrong. But the deal is - she won't give me $ anymore ;(. So, i am on my own after a week when my monthly salary comes. Until then i will have to wake up in 6am and try to survive mentally at work. I hate that! I just told my boss 30 mins ago that i quit and he had hard time hiding his smile. Probly because I am the only person who would tell his boss he quits after just 3 weeks of working lol. Wish me luck at the beginning, cause if i hit a god damn bad streak i will have to eat whatever the gipsies have left in the trash cans in front of my block :D

Its quite interesting how everytime I start a session well rested, focused and in all ways prepared to play my A game I end up losing or breaking even. Like this:
However I dont mind this so much because most of my losses have been against 1-3 outers and Ive been playing quite solidly. However Ive tilted away about 1.6 buyins tonight ;/

So I've been trying to get away from my standard weak/tight standard ABC game. I had a session today where I was experimenting with being more aggressive (my aggression is usually too low on the turn and river, and high on the flop). Here is the graph:

So it starts off well and I take down a few large pots with ungreat hands just by firing multiple barrels. Then at the first steep drop, that was just me gambling like an idiot so don't mind that. That hand was actually quite interesting though because the guy had an overpair, 3bet me from the blinds, and check/shoved the undercard flop. I guess he picked up on my aggression the past few orbits.

This graph is nowhere near what it usually is. Usually my showdown winnings in blue are a steady climb with the odd small drop off, whereas my non-showdown winnings are usually break even or slightly negative. As I said I was experimenting with this, so it's obvious that keeping up aggression can be very profitable, however only at the right times. And knowing when the right time is is something I'm trying to learn. Because I obviously went to showdown too much with the worse hand when I pick wrong spots to do this.

I ended up tightening up towards the end of the session and playing my more standard game in order to get my losses back.

As you can see my flop and turn aggressions are pretty big, whereas my river aggression was still too passive. I think 2-2-2 is a good value for all streets? Usually it's like 4-1.8-1.4 something like that.

I also need to play quite a bit before the end of the month so I can get Platinum Star. I've been slacking off lately.

Just upgraded my ram to a 2gb kit, from a single piece 1gb.
Can i use all 3 sticks or only 1 kit at a time, i have 8 slots for ram. I dont want to stick them all in and blow my mother board up.

After hangin around TL and LP for so long, I'm finally ready to join the community! I've been playing poker for a while and just now decided to take it seriously because no one likes me enough to call me back for a real job So with nothing to do I have been grinding nl2 and nl5 hopefully I can run good and make some money! Lookin forward to it wish me luck!

Man I'm busy as all hell today so I'm just throwing this up quickly. So the news that they've spent $150,000 on Palin's wardrobe reminded me that she was part of the race. Add in the fact that the #1 concern people have about McCain right now is whether Palin is qualified to be president, and her numerous scandals and instances of wasting government money despite claiming she's going to cut waste, and she becomes an even bigger issue. But to top it all off, she still doesn't get what it is that the vice president does:



A vote for McCain is basically a vote for Palin to run this country, cause chances are McCain won't survive his first term. That's scary to me. Very scary.

Before I get into the poker im just wondering if anyone has played the new Fable game? It looks pretty sweet and I wanna give it a try but if its just shit Im not even going to bother. Just wondering what you guys think? I didnt play the first Fable but Ive heard a lot of good things.

Anyways yesterday was a terrible day and i lost 40BB yuck. I think I gotta set a point where I quit after I win so much because I was up a lot the f*cked it all away. Got pretty tilted and just started playing reeeallly bad. Playing reaaaalllly bad plus getting sucked out on is a terrible combo.

Today went a little better made about 20BB. Going to call it quits for the day and go eat some SUSHI! mmmm lol.
