Slightly tilted. A week of slowly losing while playing lots of hands tends to do that. I realized today that while I have usually made about 1 mistake for every 1,500 hands I've played over the last week, they were huge mistakes and things I didn't need to do. Stupid calls with a set on a flush board when it's clear he has it and so on. They were situations where I KNEW I was beat, and all my experience has taught me to fold, but I called anyway. They were spewy tilt moments. And if I'd avoided those as I easily could have, I'd actually be up like 1 buyin since Monday. Instead I'm down about 8 since Monday.

Spew really ads up. And it is especially obvious when you're in a downswing / break even stretch. I've basically broken even or had a tiny win for every session where I didn't spew. The main reason I've lost money instead of just breaking even for the week is that I spewed.

Now if I had actually run well, the spew wouldn't have seemed so significant, cause it wasn't huge. I would be up pretty well for the week and I'd look at those spews and see that I could be up even more, but it wouldn't bug me so much. Right now the spew bugs me like crazy.

I have to be careful now. I'm starting to find myself wanting to play lots of tables. I'm feeling impatient. I'm eager for myself to "finally run good " and recoup all my loses. And with that mindset I'm not paying as much attention, not willing to fold when I know I should cause I am talking myself into believing that, even though he's nearly never bluffing here, this is the one time that he actually IS bluffing and I'm going to catch it! I can't play like that. If I let that mindset take over then this will turn into a real downswing. A painful downswing. A soul crushing downswing.

I have spent all day trying to un-tilt. Watching movies and so on. The plan got kind of ruined since I had some arguments with my GF, but that's been worked out. Now I gotta keep trying to decompress, to un-tilt, to get positive. If I can get myself into the right mindset then I am going to do more NL100 tonight. If I can't get myself thinking straight, then I'm just not going to play at all. If I have another losing session tonight then I'm going to drop to NL50 for a bit, even though I'm still very well rolled for NL100. Just gotta stop the bleeding and rebuild the confidence. I was also thinking about trying to get some money on another poker site via one of those no deposit promotions and grind up a roll from the microstakes for fun. I think if I have a bad session I might end up following through on that.

The hardest part is that it's the weekend, it's the holidays, and the fish are out. I don't want to miss all that money. I also felt so close to NL200 on Monday but now it has started slipping away. That's frustrating. But I'm acknowledging it and trying to reset my plans to take shots with a bigger BR. 2 weeks ago I was in a solid mental state where I could lose some money while taking a shot and stay totally positive. Right now I'm feeling shitty and I know if I took a shot and lost money I'd probably life tilt. So it sucks to feel like I was so close and now it's slipping away from me, but I'm reminding myself that it only slips away if I throw away my BR. As long as I keep grinding I'll get another chance at NL200. But if I tilt it all away then I'll only get to join Marshall and Neilly.

Well that's one hell of a rant. I think it helped me to write all of this out.

Oh and I gotta share this, cause it earns serious pimp points. When I made up with my GF tonight I was doing some sweet talking about how amazing she was, and then I threw in "You make me feel even better than having AA hold up vs 99 all-in preflop in a 10 buyin deep pot!" The great thing is she understood what I meant, and the awesome thing is that she didn't look at me like a freak for saying it. We just laughed.

That's some serious smooth talking yo.

Not much to say here just that I rebuilt the 7k I lost even tho I played NL400 with 10bis lol, now I'm pretty well rolled so it's all good. I ran pretty good overall only one or two FS bad beat and sucked out at least two times. It is great hopefully will continue (not for me to suckout that cuz that would mean I played bad ;P), GL.

Good News my bankroll peaked at $198.85; bad news is I never went over $200.

You see, I discovered the fun in playing sit n go, and started playing $3.40 Turbo & $6.50 turbo. For one session I kept getting sucked out on or coolered, so I got frustrated and tilted. What does this mean in my terms? Move up a stake to 10NL, and lose money there!

Nonetheless, it was a good experience and now I'm pretty sure that I can do well in those limits, but to be able to play comfortably and normally, I need to build up my bank roll first and I guess that shouldn't be too hard, as long as I don't play those Sit n go's and go on tilt again.

Back to business, played my normal game over 1K hands this morning on 5NL FR and made 6BI's. So basically by the end of this week I should be bankrolled for 10NL easily.


One thing I found REALLY REALLY funny [but at the same time frustrating] were the short stackers in 10NL 6-max. Talk about POT COMMITTMENT & SHORT STACKERS. I don't know if this has ever happened to any of you guys, but I remember all too often that the moment I tried to steal their 10c blinds out of their $2 stack they'd almost always shove me. Talk about being POT COMMITTED! - boy I wouldn't even consider stealing a short stacker's blind in 2NL!

I got dealt these hands consecutively which makes it worse. I should be up atleast 100BB this session but because of this clown I am up an amazing 15BB. Gonna stop playing for a bit and go eat becasue this tilted the fuck out of me.

I had a very long break even stretch running 18 bi under expectation. Today I finally had a winning session. I've been trying to take it easy with AQ since it was bleeding badly.

I frequently get in this kind of spots and am afraid of calling even when villain is super aggro tilt monkey maniac:

Been playing WoW alot. Farming raid bosses is getting boring. Raids in wotlk are way too easy and Blizzard isn't releasing new raid content fast enough. If arena season doesn't kick off soon I'll quit the damn game.

only played 360 hands today 1 tabling NL 100 HU vs bad regs.
played ~ 1h 20 minutes

However i am so totally gonna stick to my new rules and wont play more today since i am happy with how reults are.
Only play when u enjoy it !
if i played more in the evening this would be for grind and i actually feel more like watching some tv and having a relaxed time
(I will play some FPP maybe since i have 1,75K and dont know what to do with it)

last 2 days of NL100 Hu have been good.
I also have a new strategy that shall help me not doing the mistakes i did in teh past.

a) play bums who buy in for 40BB and have no clue what they are doing
b) play bad regulars from which u find massive leaks in the first 50hands of the session. ( If u dont find any severe leaks first 50 hands -> quit when down 1bi )

worked out great so far.
Found 2 very bad regulars today and took most of their monez.

Besides that on Wednesday there was a party at my university.
Royal_Rumble who lives close to the university was friendly enough to let me sleep at his place. " thumbs up "

Party was pretty cool and i got really drunk.
A few hours in the party some girl came over to me and startd to talk ( I dont remember exactly what she said)
But I remeber i lifted of my T-shirt and showed her my sixpackaments ( well i am not hardcore 6pack ^^ but i have some shape)
She was like hey , thats the best she has seen so far bla...
Well i was really too drunk to have a conversation with a girl and so i decided i take a shot ^^
I said like : Well will u be talking whole nite or do i get my blowjob now ?
Didnt work ^^
But she wasnt too angry either
We talked some more and i dont remeber much
However i decided to leave at some point ( stupid drunkaments)

Havent seen her again , but remeberd her name when i woke up.
I searched the internetz of my university and found her.
I now wrote her a message and hope she will respond.

yesterday was brutal, i made a shove with 50x bb while 3/37 in the $10 30k gntd with a ton of fe vs tp, i had oesd...in retrospect i shoulda reraised it and shoved turn, just had a blow up

tilted me pretty bad, managed to lose around 200 after that, wanted the 5k so bad, cashed for 70

so im takin this weekend off except for the mtt's i really wanna play

my rolls hurt, i might have to go redeposit

I feel like I have been ranting about this enough but fuck, Im so irritated. I have played alot of stars lately but today I figured id hit the HU tables on ipoker for the euro peak hours. Now, ipoker has a limited amount of heads up tables, its not like stars where another one pops up just as one gets taken. As I scout for action theres 20+(!) 2/4 hu tables with one reg on each, and NONE of them will play me. Now I havent been really active on ipoker HU as of late so I am not well known, and I dont think any of these guys really know if I am a big winner or a complete retard. Just the fact that a buy in for full makes then sit out and say "no ty"

FUCK YOU! First of all, these guys are fucking pathetic. Bumhunting on 2/4 is like boxing 4 weightclasses below you. You will bash on the little competition you get, but you will never improve and you will stay a bumhunting 2/4 pathetic fuckface asswhipe reg cunt for the rest of your life. Id rather work at IKEA than bumhunt like these guys. Second of all, these guys are really bad for the games. Lets say you are a drunk recreational player wanting to play some poker on saturday night, you look at the tables and theres 20 of them with players who wont play eachother. Even if you are retarded and drunk out of your mind you will realize something is up.

Being put on sick lifetilt after not getting any action I decided to be the 2/4 HU terrorist for a couple of hours. I sat at ALL of the bumhunting regs tables. At most I think i was on 12 HU tables and all the fags sat out on me. A couple of them even started arguing with me, like they have any fucking standing in this. The way I see it, if you want to be a little cuntfaced cockbag bumhunter fuckhead and only play drunk shortstacks, fine. Bless your soul. But if you chose to do this, there is a price to pay aswell. If you encounter someone who isnt drunk and/or retarded, leave the fucking table. Thats the price of taking gameselection to a retarded new level. Dont stay at the table and start whining, just FUCKING FUCK OFF YOU PIECE OF SHIT GOOD FOR NOTHING SCUMFACE. Gameselect all you want you little faggots but remember that theres a limited amount of tables available and I, who will play anyone, have the privelige of taking your table if you dont see me as a fit candidate to play against.

The most suprising thing of all was that none of these bumhunters seemed to understand my point. They all acted like I was a retarded moron who blocked their tables when in reality they are the ones blocking mine. I was called "imature", "acne faced nerd", "retard" and one guy even asked for my adress so he could come and beat me up. lol.

Anyways, the whole thing is getting pretty ridicilous, and eventhough I kinda enjoyed being the kinga of 2/4 hu, its not really worth it having to fuck with regs for 40 min everytime I want action. If there 6-max games wherent so juicy I would just cash out my roll from ipoker and move to ftp.

Had I not made any mistakes, I'd say I could have saved about 4-5 buyins. People were never folding to my cbets, and when that starts happening, I try and double barrel more often. Problem is, people were actually catching cards non-stop vs me =/.

But yeah, stnd variance for the most part. I can feel that sick 10bi heater around the corner .

Hey what up guys. About 4-5 days ago, I was talking to Bigbobm and CasinoCasino on vent, and basically I got the idea in my head to try to get supernova elite after seeing the numbers. I also decided i wanted to start doing it at 1/2 and eventually move up. The reason for that is just that up until this year i was a 4 tabler, (originally a 12 tabler but i was real bad at it) and then this year i started playing 9 at once to mediocre success (I never felt very comfortable at the higher stakes). So for the past few days since then, I've been experimenting at 1/2 adding on more and more tables and putting in a lot of hours.

All in all, I feel I have a pretty gigantic edge at these stakes, But I have been misclicking TONS and forgetting the action in hands at times. Not to mention I keep doing actions that are incorrect because i dont have time to think about them. I'll give an example, say i have like AK on 59Q double suited board and im in position, i cbet and then i see that the guy is a total maniac and check raises me and im like FK what a horrible spot to do that.

I will also add that i have been experimenting quite a bit as well, as i see so many regs at this stake have some pretty exploitable leaks. I dont want to go too much into detail since i know some 1/2 regs in the games im playing read this forum, so sorry. But i will say, the skill level at 1/2 has improved from what i remember it being at. Make no mistkae though i hope that when my game gets used to the new amount of additional tables I am going to take a large chunk of money out of these stakes.

Final note on this is that, I have been trying stuff like 18 fast tables (bad idea i time out so fast and can't take notes), i also tried 22 normal tables which wasn't bad, but then i tried 16 normal tables and 6 fast, that was also a fail.

BASICALLY, i think im setttling on 20 normal speed tables for a while, and i will probably start the year doing that (yea i'll have to play a little longer but my hourly will be better i think)

AS for life~~~

I've finally gotten settled in the new apartment here in Tempe, AZ, with my friend Jorge as my roommate (or housemate i guess?=p). I got another 24 inch monitor coming in and it'll arrive just intime for the new year i think. And yea..... I guess i'll have to upload a video of the apartment. Oh and before i finish up, My fucking car shut off the other day while i was driving (i believe the fuel pump is clogged or something?) anyway i took it to the dealer, they said they fixed it, but they didn't and now its back in there. I've been carless for like 9 days now. :|

Aight so thats about it. Maybe i should start updating regularly again? meh
