How many hands would you have to play 100nl HU to hit SN on PS? FYI, I have 0vpp.

I'm obv new here, been lurking here a while and I'm a part of your Icelandic daughter(?) site. Just not enough going on there for me..

I'm a 23 year old computer science student and have been playing online poker for a few years, but just started getting serious about it this year.

I played World of Warcraft for like, 2 years probably and when I decided to give it up - I sold all my gold to a friend. for 40 bucks.

First he shipped me 5, I turned that 5$ into ~75$ playing 2$ SNG's at FTP and then got bored and basically threw it away(cash, higher stakes tournament, such). Then he shipped me 35 bucks witch I have been playing with since. Got it up to ~100 the same way as before and then started playing MTT's and got it to 1k pretty soon. yadda yadda..

My current BR is 250~ and this is because I frequently go to the cash games tables and donate... a lot. Somehow I can't even beat NL5, I just wanted to start from scratch and stop donating, when I think I'm ready - I'm going for some kind of a challenge(more on that later).

Reason I'm rambling about this.. Just hoping some of you guys can share some info, links or general guidelines on where to start. I'm clearly doing something wrong - and cant figure out what.

So.. ?

Made quite a few withdrawals so BR is at like 1.8k, but figure I should take a shot at NL50 soon. Was thinking about buying a hand history from www.handHQ.com for NL50.
Anyone have any experience with them?

Took a NL25 Shot today. Went well, but still not feeling very comfortable there because of my recent mega downswing there.

I'll post my biggest losers from every session that I am unsure about here from now on.

Most rigged site ever. I made some of the msot beautiful plays.
1) getting a guy ot shove QQh on turn on KT24 3 hearts board when i have AA no heart then he flushes it on river for over 100bb's
2) guy calls 3b with QTo hits a queen i checkshove he calls binks a T on river also for over 100bbs.

Besides all that i had the worst board turnouts no matter waht i had board would turn out 4 card str8 or flushes and I would get bluffed off on river cuz their first to act etc. Overall happy with how im playing and not gonna let results affect my play.

So tonight,

im going towards the traffic lights, and in momentary lapse of concerntration - i smack into the bumper of the car infront of me.

this is standard?

like losing AA vs KK?

happens eventually?

coz apart from losing my licence to DUI - ive never had any crash, speeding or parking violations in my life and i feel like my fucking record is tarnished for life and i feel like shit.

I crashed into some middle aged woman who was a fucking lawyer of all things, and obviously dicks her car. better than crashing into gang members, but worse than crashing into a student in a piece of shit van.

no one injured, car damager minimal (to mine and hers - although she said she gonna go to panel beaters and shit although its all paintwork) so i guss its good.

I cant help but think fucking chaos theory - and to top it off, guy in car broke up with his gf like 3 minutes later over the phone and walked home all upset.

please give me hugs and shit.

Used the money from my $2.75 donkament win last month to pay for school so BRs are back to next to nothing again. Deposited $50 on FTP just for the Take 2 promotion... who can pass up a free $50 for playing 2 tables. On Stars i've worked my BR up to $274 and i'm currently grinding out NL10 6 max...

mostergrindaments month, 100k hands challange. (alot for me)

2 days almost completed, ran pretty bad yesterday and have ran into higher sets 3 times over these hands, but cant say i run bad really since im getting my share of the good end of setups aswell.

good month 1 time !

gonna put in another 2k hands later today, now its lunch time!

(today's play, yesterday I played @ neilly's house so no graph, but I won 4bi@nl50)
anyway lets hope the 2 day trend of winning continues, even if its too small of a winrate atm

and this is 8 hours of actual play-time 4tabling, yeesh.. 15/hour with rakeback is lol.. slash-wrists

Very solid month for me, almost had a big tourney win as well but ended up being eliminated 14th in the daily 80k (1800 entrants). Started my co-op job on monday, seems like a deadly place to work although its seriously going to cut into my poker time.
