decent month at 6.5bb/100, i think i played well from about 8k hands onwards through to 20k, then things kind of fell apart, trying to make too many reads with not enough info and stuff
will be spending most of my time for october on cake poker improving my game without a hud, hopefully fix leaks and come back and crush 50nl on ftp for 10bb+/100
Suffice to say that I'm EXTREMELY upset! All was going well, then cooler after cooler.
I played 12 tables of 25NL FR for a while, then switched to 4 tabling 50NL. I think I was REALLY profitable at the 50NL level, if i hadn't been coolered or sucked out on, i would do fine... but 12 tables of 25NL seems much lower variance!

i thought guy was pretty solid because i saw him get it in pretty thin. on flop i like my raise because 5 dimaonds are already used up, and i expect sets to lead here.
i don't really mind turn at all, because i expected villain to squeeze JJ like 100% of the time so i feel like his range that i'm losing to is super narrow. i still feel like i have the effective nuts.
on river i am fucking befuddled. i don't think he has 33's here ever, it's either 97 (full house) or T8 diamonds (straight flush) i mean were deep, but i guess he might bet getting to excited with a K flush? but even though he's repping a super narrow range can i fold? do i stack K flush enough here?

this might be super nitty, but i would fold here to a check raise on flop. do you think checking flop will induce more bets or calls more so than getting a call on flop? (i think pretty trivial but am starting to like checking flop and calling/betting turn)
Came back totally calm after my morning spew. Really just doing what mayzerg suggested, chilling the fuck out. I still wasnt happy with my tables, lot of 60vp's on my left, but I just didnt let it get to me and laid it down when I didnt have it, and bet it when I did. Or least when I thought for sure their range is focused enough that they simply have to fold this board.
Only one hand of interest the entire session. Villain was 27/7/2, overall mostly passive. He suddenly started snap calling a lot of my opening raises.

I guess looking at how this played down he could only have a flush draw and played it passively??? If he were to shove over my river bet, could I consider to have induced a bluff and should call? Should I even bet the river hoping he has precisely 66/77 and never opted for a raise? Or should I have just checked because nothing worse calls?
ok so a bit about me. i'm primarily a 6 max player... taught that way. play 26/22, 3 bet a ton (like 10%, probably bad given the stakes that i play). profitable up to 100NL... haven't tried any higher.
i play a bit of HU, and beat 50NL and 100NL nicely there (again haven't tried higher)
anyway, yesterday, i decided (out of the blue) to 12 table full ring games! anyway, i could only last 100 minutes or so before burning out like a little slut.
im surprised how nitty i had to be. folding AJo EP, folding 22/33/44 in EP (which are normally raises from any position SH for me), folding QJs EP (WTF ITS SUCH A 3 BET HAND!).
of course, it cost me a fair bit of money to learn to fold QJs in EP. it went down something like this: i open QJs from UTG+1, MP repops me, and i make the call OOP (oopssss). flop comes down Qxx, and half my stack later, we're at showdown, getting pwnd by AQo. brilliant.
anyway, how nitty you ask? 12.1/9.8, agg factor 4.48, 3 bet 3.3% (wow thats pathetic), wtsd 20%, w$sd at 60%
anyway after my small sample size, i made $45/hr for a tidy $78 profit. win rate 12PTBB/100. solid. graph attached below
so i might try this until i have 10K hands, see how it goes, and i might be switching to FULL RING!! and of course, adding tables as i get more experience/move up.
in other news, i MADE A ROYAL FLUSH!! $14 pot lol. i flopped the draw, played it mega passively (3 to the flop) coz i wanted to make that royal so bad. made it on the river! both checked to me, i bet $10 into a $14 pot and unfortunately no payoff
anyway that's it for now... i'm gonna play some more 12 tabling 25NL action in a few hours when there are more ppl online! hopefully play about 3K hands (4 hours worth), and see how i go
a reason why u shouldnt play over aggro donks HUsby killaherni, September 29

Massive traffic accident shutting down entire freeway to work, so I just stayed home for an hour this morning. Decided might as well see what early mornin poker is like.
Looks like I need to move back to NL200 soon, dont know how much longer my bankroll can survive at NL25.
Jammed a couple of FD's vs check-minraising fish who hit their sets. Got outplayed by one fish who checked QQ to the river then overbets my value bet on the river.
I thought this hand was *kinda* interesting, least not for the fact that he was running a standard 26/18 at the tbale.

Basically I figured any good hand had to shove over my 3bet, since regs love to check-raise draws. When he flats I figure he's definitely on a draw, so I bet half pot on turn to "find out where im at" and he calls, so now I know where im at.
Playing 4 tables, i had a 55vpip to my left, a 33vpip, a 42vpip, and 36vpip. So needless to say it just kinda put me in a funk since now I cant raise much of anything. Curiously, the highest vpip player on my right on ANY table was 18vpip. Not sure how this dynamic keeps forming. I just pick tables and next thing I know all the stations are on my left and all the nits who never pay off are on my right. Worst possible scenario imo. Will take another shot at lunch hopefully.

tbh i get a little tired of all the injuries i get from mma training all teh time >-<
i decided that i will still continue mma but also may start some less dangerous sport who additionally supports mma .
so i started BJJ last week
both Gi and no Gi additional to my MMA and Boxing training.
My trainer is BJJ blackelt from brazil named Alex who is close friends with Flroan Müller one of germans best MMA light heavyweight fighters.
the first 3 classes were pretty cool.
I was also happy that alex was impressed by my first bjj tries.
after the first sparring sessions he made the following comment.
alex :He u , what is your name
me : andi
Alex : I wan see u here more often , u got good positions .. u got talent we can work
its also pretty funny to hear a brazilian bjj blackbelt speek english ^^
its exactly the same es in bjj instructional videos

But I was playing nl200 as well. And when you add them up: http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/54d58.srsrakebackproLOL.jpg
My hand/play goal for days I am playing on is 8 hours or 4k hands a day (which is like 6-7 hours 6tabling I think). But really I'm probably going to end up at around 3-3.5k each day lol. I 4tabled a lot today and played a total of 8 hours >
you get my second day of rakeback pro'ing! lol
But I'm really happy about recovering.. Now I'd like just the last quarter of the graph for tomorrow, thanks!
In other news I'm fixing to head out of vegas in a couple of days. If I wake up in time today I'm going to get my car worked on (time to replace the timing belt, and maybe this way overly expensive thing they want to replace). Otherwise it'll have to happen on Wednesday.
I had fun hanging out with Neilly's friend GSR_1_INTEG aka Brandon or whatever his name is on lp I honestly can't remember unless I see it I had a really mellow last weekend in Vegas but I'll be back next year anyways..
I'm so glad Obama is black

Fed gov intelligence is predicting it what.. Oct 15th right?
I wrote earlier about finally playing properly, having learned a few things about trying to put people on ranges and shit, rather than just seeing how they react to my bet sizing and "find out where im at" in every hand.
Well my fuckin job makes it impossible to get any quality poker time in during the week, so I had to abandon my table selecting rules and just find overall loose tables with high $$$ pots. The result? A session in absolute faggotry.
Just too many fucking stations on my left. I must have table selected for over an hour, meaning I just kept constantly joining and leaving tables within 15 hands because every fucking table I sat at had 2-3 fuckin homo's running 50+ vpip on on my left with 0% fold cbet. Nothing I could do would shake em. I ended up raising $2 preflop with hands like KQo just because I got tired of them calling with rags and pairing up, no dice. They still call with rags. Then came the tilt, as I started getting check-minraised on totally random fuck flops and just all sorts of other tilt inducing shit fish love to do like overbet jam, check-raise allin with Ace high and hit, etc etc.
I try to find tables where all the fags are on my right so I can iso, unfortunately every single table just kept ending up the exact opposite. Maybe thats why those seats were available, other nits/tags jumping ship due to shitty ass position.
Just gotta table select better. Or find a way to play retards OOP every single hand. I guess nitting it up to like 10/8 oughta do it.
