He's a 27/7 weak passive fish.
His range for calling the flop that you beat include any two overcards, any gutshot, any flush draw, any pp, any 8, For the most part, that's the range most fish have here when they call your bet.
On the turn it's the exact same range, it's just that sometimes they end up folding hands like overcards and any pp, but the super passive ones don't even fold on a turn bet. You should bet bigger on the turn to maximize his error when he calls you with any of those above hands.
River bet is pretty cool, but you can probably bet a little bigger. I think pot is like $10, but $6-7 should be enough to get value out of what is now most likely busted draws and 8x.
Do NOT ever level yourself into thinking you'll ever induce a passive fish. Trust me on that one. They suck because they cannot find the raise button unless they have the nuts, so if you call thinking they're bluffing, you probably played the hand worse than he did. |
