so I finished a hard semester of school barely playing any poker because of the lack of time.
and now I get rewarded by pokerstars with this for the past 3 days.

I really don't know what's wrong with this box of junk, I just formatted it a couple of months ago and installed windows 7 on it.
now it keeps BSOD'ing in the middle of my sessions which of course makes me rage. It just happened and when I rebooted and my tables loaded up again there was this unreal lag (never happened before) which basically made it unplayable.
I guess I should really get a new computer because this is super annoying.
I probably played this pretty bad. I already posted my thoughts in the comments of the hand, but I'll do it here too. I was afraid I wouldn't get any action from a bigger bet on the river but I probably could've shoved and still gotten a call now that I think about it. Best case scenario is he has pocket queens, but I'd seen him reraise pre with queens so I was pretty sure he had something weaker. Feedback would be appreciated.

A good friend of mine works for PeaceJam, an international education program that brings the knowledge of Nobel Peace Laureates to youth around the world. I pretty much piss excellence, joy and beauty when I am around them.
“Piss” is not a word they employ with any regularity at PeaceJam. However, I do.
A couple of years ago I participated as a mentor in a PeaceJam Slam which brought together youth from all over the mountain region to Denver for a day of awesome discussions, awesome lectures, awesome goal planning and an awesome speech by Naomi Tutu (daughter of the awesome Desmond Tutu) who inspired us to be even more awesome than we felt in our awesome glands. I was blown away by how involved PeaceJam had made these students. They were, by themselves, creating all types of programs in their schools, neighborhoods and cities from picking up trash to raising money for African NGO’s. They were taking on huge projects and accomplishing deliverable goals. I very much enjoyed encouraging their continued awesomeness…and wanted to be more like them! what's up with China and poker?by luddite, December 15
I don't remember seeing any players online from China before. But tonight there's one on all of my tables, all shortstacking, all open shoving preflop any time they get a good hand.
i still technically have 1 bi left since i was taking a 10bi shot. But with how i'm running and the mindset I'm in I feel i'd just spew it. Taking the rest of today off, going to grind 2/4 on Wednesday-Sunday hopefully will kick some ass and get my confidence back. Believe I will play 2/4 until I go to florida where I'll then have to take a 6 day break from poker. If I'm feeling good about things after the break I will take another shot at 3/6.
here's my br management plan
Roll currently 20.8k...will play 2/4 til I get my roll back up to 26k. Then will take another 10 bi shot at 3/6, if my roll drops down to 20k again I will go back to 2/4 and regrind til i'm back up to 26k, rinse and repeat til i'm winning at 3/6. If my roll drops to 10k I will move down to 1/2, 5k move down to .5/1 etc.
Is heavily +EV. I feel so high right now,
And I think its going to be a long long time...
Poker is alright too. I am started to get more motivated to play as my death run is coming to just a shitty run but still not running good. Very close to 200k vpp bonus though so after that I take a week break, and starting from 2010 I will play around 150k hands/month if I run good.

Ok, so im looking to get an apartment soon. I just dont know what to tell the landlords when they ask me what do i do for a living. Im obviously not gonna tell them ill pay the rent with my poker earnings :S
