First half of December was quite depressing. From 350~ to 130~ in 4,6k hands.
I decided to take break from poker to end of year to untilt myself. I'm little freaked out losing 66% of my br in 5k hands, I need to calm down, relax. Now I cannot think rationally when playing. After every 5 minutes looking on my cashier. Fuckin ridiculous I am.
Also when I return to tables I think I'll play nl2 and plo2 for a quite a while. My confidence is shattered, and I need to recover my calm when playing.
That's for now about poker.

As for other boring things from my life, lets see.
Started to date nice girl. Seems like it can be fun.
Started to thinking about quit smoking.
Oh, and last thing. I know how I'll spend my first withdrew $350 Skydiving :D:D:D It's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool that I must do it. MUST.
Near Krakow there is a club where I could do it, but don't have monies yet. :<

Last blog I posted that I would coach one lucky LP member for free, and I have made my decision. I chose mknybtlr for a few reasons, firstly his PM to me was by far the most detailed, informative and indepth response I got and he answered my questions better than everyone else. Secondly he is a friend of Ket, and since Ket got me into poker I thought it would be cool to kinda hand the baton on from Ket to me and from me on to mknybtlr. Ket assured me that he's a good guy with the motivation and intelligence to succeed and it does seem that way to me so far from his PM and the short chats we've had so hopefully we'll see some improvement pretty soon. He is in the process of creating and sending me a video for review and then I will attempt to work some magic, I will probably use this blog as a way to keep track of his progress.

On another note, I was looking through my laptop the other day and came across some old PT2 stats from when I used to play Prima, Crypto, Betfair and Party and it reminded me of how I used to roll. I do feel like I'm beginning to get back on track, albeit at much lower limits, but still, not as good as back then:

I wrote this really amazing/hilarious/ground breaking blog. I mean this shit would have revolutionized the blogging world. But i didnt put a title, so when i hit post, it erased everything. FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU. Your LOSSS NOT MINE LP!!

OK so ill try this again. I started adding 4 tables of 50PLO to my 4 tables of 50NL. Im on a 15' laptop so things are tight, its like i just won a game of solitaire cards flying all over. Things went pretty well tho I won 8 buyins this weekend 5 at PLO, 3 at NL. The reason I started adding PLO is cuz people suck at this game. Way more money to be won. Ive been watching a ton of vids and as I learn more I realize how much people blow at PLO. Theres usually max 1 guy per table who knows what hes doing, everyone else is either too tight/too loose/braindead. I love the guys that will stack off with AA for 100bbs or more on ANY FLOP, ANY FLOP.

Anyway, my weekend was pretty good. Consisted of poker/football/celebrating a friends bday/COD:MWF2. Any other LPers playing MWF2 on XBL hit me up my GT is Y0uGoTGoT (thats a zero in the Y0u) Will trade COD lessons for da poker lessons haha

Definitely need to work my showdown, i know that i tend to call too much 3bet postflop or goes allin with only tptk which is clearly -EV. Except obviously against fishes, which i think is why i'm somewhat breakeven !

This months started out well, even though I have been busy and have not been able to play as much as I should. The main thing that helped was I stopped running bad on FTP, and am running actually $300 above EV on that site (fuck yeah! I'm a lucksack!). Def need to get the volume up, but with all the holiday travel coming up, that may not be possible. Played live a few times. Took down a tourney at my GF's school poker club for $750 and went once to the local casino for another $700. Graph below.

EDIT: NL200 mostly with some NL400 added in.

Today sucked. I started off running really well and getting 30k stacks in 3 tournies. Unfortunately I cooled off very quickly. I was one of the big stacks in the $75 6 max only to lose back to back flips and be out with a min cash. I couldn't get anything going in the 750k or the mulligan. I basically played a 10bb stack for 3 hours in both of them and ran QQ into AA in the 750k and squeezed A7s all in with 15bb and ran into AQ in the mulligan. Sorry for the poor performance guys, hopefully last time will make up for it.

$345 in total cashes, KO's and refund. I'll send it tomorrow around noon.

any suggestion on how to fix / where to fix my desktop when it won't even turn on. nothing happens when i hit the power over and over again. i've tried 2 different power cords and tried them in different sockets in my house to no avail. it all worked fine 2 days ago which was the last time i had it on (i usually leave it on 24 hours / day).

thoughts?

Doesn't matter what language, as long as it works in the way I want to.

I don't think the program is very complex, not exactly sure how much work it would be, but I'd program it myself if I was slightly better at it.

at the end of a medicore session today I was up a buyin but after quitting my tables I left 1 because I had direct position on some drooling monkey 2 buyins deep and was stuck 2 buyins on that table

I proceeded to lose every pot I played against him and every other person on the table and ended down $700 after he left obv its not much money but for some reason this tilts me really badly

now usually this is where I reopen all my tables and start playing again but decided I can live with being down a buyin

that is all

My rungood has continued so far this month, being up almost $30K for the month, with 18 days left on the month.
I think my goal to play more than 85K hands this month could be a problem but at least I have already broken my winning goal for this month and this is my best month ever playing cash games!

I have been taking some shots at 10/20 and 25/5 with some great action on the tables.

I want to start off by saying fuck finals. Blah. Anyways, poker has been great this month. I am up a bit over 3k so far thanks to me luck boxing a tournament for 2k, and doing fairly well at 50NL and 100NL averaging ~1k hands/day so far. I am done with finals Tuesday, and will be diving into grind-mode on Wednesday.

Not necessarily just grinding, but really studying my game. I will be doing a lot more extensive research into my game via HEM's filter feature which I just recently discovered. I have a few specific training videos I will be watching and taking notes on. I also purchased Slowhabit's NL Workbook a few days ago and from what I have skimmed so far, it looks great, I cant wait to really sit down and absorb everything.

I have high hopes for my development as a poker player in the coming months. I have been talking a good bit with JEM87 and he has really helped me look at the game much differently. My results since I started playing again in October have been great, and my play has been improving daily. I am hoping to be playing midstakes somewhat regularly by summertime, and dabbling in 5/10+ by 2011.

I am considering doing the whole Vegas thing this summer for the WSOP. If I continue to improve my game between now and then, and can afford it financially, I will likely end up going. I feel like that could really improve my game by leaps and bounds, and I really want to take advantage of an opportunity like that.

Anyways, back to studying, peace homies
