I probably played this pretty bad. I already posted my thoughts in the comments of the hand, but I'll do it here too. I was afraid I wouldn't get any action from a bigger bet on the river but I probably could've shoved and still gotten a call now that I think about it. Best case scenario is he has pocket queens, but I'd seen him reraise pre with queens so I was pretty sure he had something weaker. Feedback would be appreciated.

lol nice hand and u can put this in the low stakes poker forum. I commented in the hand that I would bet 1.5. A shove looks like scary to people. People can't fold to 1/3 pot bets at micros. |

i commented on the hand thread, but i think just dont worry about spots like this too much. theres not really much you can get value out of on the river and this is such a rare spot that adjusting your bet sizing by a few bb or whatever isnt going to affect your winrate at all. pretty trivial spot.
and i think i like a small river bet better than a big one. hands that will call your big river bet (pretty much just boats, and i guess Qx if hes super terrible but its unlikely that someone calls a river shove with Qx) will shove over your small river bet themselves anyway. |

You absolutely must bet this flop; it's nature gives him a million reasons to call, both by putting you on the draw and by having the draw himself. In spots like this it's much much better to get value the times he doesn't believe you, than suck him in the times he gets conned by your slowplay. He makes whichever mistake about the same amount, but on the former you get rich. You should start a thread in low stakes with questions like this, it's what it's there for  |
