Any Omaha grinders wanna exchange AIM/MSN names so we can chat about hands/strategy/spots etc. Not looking for a coach or someone to coach, just someone around my level, at least a breakeven player at PLO25 - PLO100 level. I'd also prefer someone that almost exclusively plays PLO.

About me:
I started playing Omaha 2 X-mas's ago and started online with a $10 bankroll at PLO2 in January '09. Moved up to PLO25 in May and PLO50 in July. I've been on a crummy downswing (20 buyins) since last Thanksgiving. I play on PS and FTP if that's relevant.

So my plan right now is 25k hands of 25PLO RUsh poker then i'll see where I wanna go from there. I've played 3 short sessions so far 4 tabling rush and I've got a litte over 2k hands. I plan to play at least 3k tommorrow. So far im up about $200 or 8 buyins.

THis is why this game is so profitable, well, sort of.

I guess I'm pretty happy with January.

Took 4-5 stabs on 50nl, but lost a few buy ins each time, I went down to 20nl, and grinded up again, and repeated.

But it went pretty well on 20nl. Here are my stats. Still struggling with having a negative red line, dunno why. Feel I keep emptying the clip, grrr.

(ok, nvm I can't seen to upload image, it just keeps loading, nothing's happening, and the imageshack adress I used either changed or got removed.)


BB/100 = 3.8 sample size 30.000 hands, 5 tabling 20nl, 70hours


Other goals were pretty good too, maybe spent 40 hours or so this month studying poker, read a few books, lots of articles, maybe watched 12 video's and gotten a few new LP friends on msn.

When it comes to training, I went to the gym 7 times, 8 if counting tomorrow, and a few trips just walking. So pretty happy with that too =]

I'm about midway through my first semester of Freshman year at my college.

I really feel like I've hit rock bottom because lately, I really don't know how to deal with problems revolving around my roommate...

It started out as a pleasant experience. My roommate was a pretty cool guy, if a bit on the nerdy side. I, on the other hand, am kind of stupid in school but I consider myself a pretty athletic guy and I'm on the baseball team and the hockey team in my college.

Yeah, as unlikely as it seems, we got along really well in the first weeks of college. I brought him to my baseball parties and he helped me with my calculus homework. It was a bit of a mutual relationship of sorts.

The trouble all started when he started going out with this girl who also goes to our college. Her face was average looking, but she had some nice looking set of tits and she was also decently intelligent - smarter than me at least lol. Anyways, my friend and his gf seemed to have great chemistry and the two of them were going out for well over a month while I just hung around parties and hooked up with random chicks.

One day, my roommate's girl walked into our dorm and asked me where he was. I replied that he was at the library printing out an essay. Strangely enough, I began to feel attracted to her. It wasn't that I was in love or anything, just that I hadn't gotten laid in quite a while and was feeling understandably horny in the presence of a female.

I decided to go for it. We talked mostly about sports and I filled her in on my favorite hockey team the Sharks. She seemed to be pretty interested (and understandably so since my roommate doesn't know anything about sports) and after a while, we really started hitting it on. I guess she was impressed with my California tan and I was kinda impressed with her tits.

One thing led to another, and we eventually had sex. Immediately, I could tell that this chick was no good and it was no surprise when I found out that she still had her v-card. Admittedly, she "tried" to get into it, but I really didn't enjoy it that much. Afterwards, I breathed a sigh of relief. If my roommate was going out with her for a month and still hasn't had sex with her, then chances are he never would have so that makes me not guilty of anything.

Now, we promised each other that WE WOULDN'T TELL ANYBODY, and none of us did. However, my roommate is like a freaking genius and started sensing a tension in the air after about a week or so after the "incident". He confronted her, and I guess she broke and told him the truth (God, why did I trust her?). Eventually, she comes running to me for support. I really didn't know what to do in that kind of situation so I just kinda brushed her aside for the moment while I tried to recollect myself.

But things started getting nasty with my roommate. He started shoving me in the halls and every time he walked by me and when I asked him, he wouldn't respond. In fact, he stopped talking to me altogether and now I'm failing calculus because I can't do my homework without his help.

Yeah, I really don't know what to do right now. I guess the relationship with my roommate is kind of over but I still don't know what to do with this chick. I mean, she suddenly thinks that I'm going to be her new bf and offer her support but I really don't like her very much.

How can I dump her in a sensitive way so she won't do something crazy like have a breakdown or something? And also, I want to make it look like she dumped me rather than I dumped her because she's kind of popular around campus and if she makes it look like I dumped her, then it will hurt my chances with other chicks in my college. How do I dump her?
