hey my funds are very low now... i feel really good about my game still but spewed a shitload on hyper turbos.
im still up 4.1k according to opr in 2k10... i have pretty nice low stake results since august but very poor money management.
wondering if anyone would want to stake me for a fair amount of monies for the long term, ive been staked before on partttimepoker once.. that was for sngs 12$-, was down early on then made it all back with a surplus 2 days after the beginning i canceled the deal and gave him a 80$ish profit.

Busted the Venetian around 160th out of 870 or something like that. Lost two big flips when I needed to win them, then chipped down to 40kish and shipped KQs in the hijack and 88 held. I really like how I played the tournament. I got very few big hands and still chipped up a lot. I was never all in for all my chips until the last hand, and if those first two flips go the other way then I have a lot of chips to work with. Oh well, gg.

| | Canada vs. USA Hockey by Bejamin1, February 21
Well I'm sure Nolan is feeling overjoyed right now but I'd like to take a few moments on this blog to recap the game.
1. Miller was excellent. He is easily the best goalie in the NHL right now, and that's nothing new.
2. Brodeur was not very good. His scrambling style, stick flailing, pad stacking bullshit was atrocious to watch. He used to feel unbeatable now I feel nervous watching his poor play. Luongo should start from here in.
3. Canada badly outplayed the Americans and spent most of the game in the Americans end of the rink.
4. The officials were clearly afraid to give the Canadians PP's until the Americans put the game out of reach. How is it possible to out-shoot the opposition 30-15 through 40 minutes, out-chance them 19-6, play the entire game in their end of the rink, and only get one measly PP? My personal feeling is that with the tournament on Canada's home soil the officials are afraid of appearing biased and don't feel comfortable giving Canada PP's. It's looking like home field disadvantage as far as the officials doing their job properly.
5. I estimate based on the above. If the game was called properly Canada would have had 10-12 PP's to the American's 4.
6. It was very clear that the Americans had no answer for the strength and skill of the Canadian players when they keep the game simple and work the puck down low. Absolute dominance by Canada for 60 minutes.
7. The reality is that in a tournament like this it's one game playoffs and anybody can win if they get lucky. The Americans were absolutely dominated for 60 minutes tonight. In a 7 game series Canada would win easily. It's not close. As a Canadian fan my only anger is the play of Brodeur, Pronger, and Neidermayer. Seabrooke should be given more ice with Keith and Neidermayer should be the 7th guy because he's been downright awful on the defensive side of the puck.
8. The Americans are unlikely to make the finals, and if Canada consistently played the way they did tonight they're the favorite to win it all despite the Russians being so deep in skill.
9. Much will be made of the Canadians having to play 4 games in 6 days. The game against Germany should be a walk so the extra game won't be any excuse. It's nothing these guys aren't used too. On top of that with two extra bodies in the lineup and lower average on ice time for just about everybody there will be no excuse about the amount of games.
I think that about sums it up. Anybody else with any thoughts? TLDR  ?

| | Food delivery gone wrong by piratematerial, February 21
UGh, so i start some standard grind. hit a rough patch and drop some buyins but no problem. i'll just play through. Good day to order in some indian food so i go right ahead and get some Lamb Dhansak. In the website i plug in pay cash in the amount of 50 euro's. It's actually quite cool that the site shows exactly where your food is and an estimated delivery time and all. Great!
So i grind some more. Just when i started up 2 headsup sit and goes and sharkscoped my villain's to be two of the fishier opponent's i played all day, the delivery arrives earlier then the schedule shows.
Normally a good thing ofcourse. Now its kind of annoying since you cannot stop these headsup turbo's and the door is on another floor. I rush the door with my wallet. The delivery guy doesnt have the right change. "Oh they gave me change for a twenty.." So i am like eh ok and dig through all my pockets and my wallet and actually come up with 2 bills of five and some coins (the bill is 12 euro's). I'm fifty cents short and i order there a lot and last time(same guy)i tipped well too. So i am like yeah is this ok i can get you the rest next time? But he doesn't think so and says i have some of my own money and digs around and then comes to the conclusion he can give me 30 euro's in change and seems to think that is acceptable though taking 50 cents less isnt.
i'm a little annoyed by now as its taking a lot of time and kind of out of options and he's not really making this easy for me. I'm really clueless why he doesnt take 50 cents less when his boss fucked up but ok. so i guess you can take the food back again. At which point he offers me to keep the food and pay through the site using internet banking. I quickly agree to that and finally can get back to the games.
I blinded both down from 1500 to 300 chips and within a minute i have time to eat I guess it would have been cheaper to give him 20 for the 12.50 bill. But maybe that's too much result oriented thinking.

Also lost KK vs AJ to JohnnyBax for around a top 100 stack in the 150K. Everytime I watch/play against someone who is considered to be a great tourny player they run hotter than I ever have in my life. Still 3 more to go, I'm playing good today but not getting the results so far.

ok, so things are looking up. Probably around 25k ish under ev still but whatever, been that for a while now so I'm basically running okish the last week. Playing decent enough too I think, and for the first time in a while I feel that my NL-game is decent.
Finally got my ass to the gym this morning, did not bet on UFC which was good since I was sure that Nog would win, on my way to a decent poker month, school is going decent I guess. What could I ever complain about?

Reasons : I want to play it so bad. But haven't the proper bankroll to play it.
I've been sleeping all day in order to be prepared all night for this tournament !
Cons : No results.
Will probably have to get lady luck with me.
