Need a starcraft2 beta key by rogier, April 29

Did not really want to clutter the main forum with this so I'll post it here. Am in need for a beta key.

Let me know for how much you want to sell it, $5 via stars will instantly take.
Auction ends whenever I wake up tomorrow, so probably in like 18ish hours.

Tnx

Thingsssss by Night2o1, April 29

Things are OK over all. Departing from Thailand soon (the 4th). My BR is the smallest it has been since my first 6 months of learning to play poker, but the hands I post on LP are being told they are wrong less often.. I dunno if I'm a winner anymore but I'm trying at least. Only have 20more buyins to try with though haha. Hmmm kind of hard to of only had (small) 4 winning sessions out of the last 15. I feel sad but not really depressed or tilted/excitable atm. I guess I will move down to nl25 if I have to but I'm hoping that doesn't end up being the case.

Going out for the last time with Byrnesam before we both go our different ways, should be fun.

See u.

Busy summer vacation by DustySwedeDude, April 29

So I wrote a test yesterday. Only one more to do this semester but I'll skip that due to being in Bulgaria when it should be written. Thus I'm pretty much on summer vacation from now untill the 1st of September.

My sister comes visiting from Italy today and tomorrow and due to Walpurgis Night I'll probably spend Saturday being hungover as fuck. Won't be drinking as much as earlier years due to being old and responsible but it'll still be a hell of a night. First year I was hear in Uppsala I had been drinking the night before, was still drunk when I woke up, got even drunker at breakfast and then it went all downhill from there. When I went to bed at 3 am or so I was already hungover and when I closed my eyes the world started spinning around me and I felt sick. Tried to call my friend R for a friendly mid night philosophy session but he didn't pick up. Called my friend H and he picked up but was busy trying to sober up enough to have sex with this girl we knew so he wasn't very interested in chatting either. I think I went and puked instead but apparently I made to much noise so that the girl I lived with then decided to throw an orange at me. Eventually I passed out on the floor. I wish I could say I've come a long way in 4 years

After the test yesterday I was super tired because I had woken up really early since I had messed up what time the test would begin. I went to BJJ practice and it started out a bit so-so but when we rolled (5 minutes against someone, then a bit of rest and 5 more against someone else) I tapped out both of my opponents with armbars which felt really good. One of them is much stronger, a little bit heavier and has better conditioning then me and RNC'd me last time we rolled but this time I did a much better job. He got side control early, had some half-assed Kimura attempts and got my back in the first 2 min or so but I kept my cool and got out and passed his guard when he messed up a little. Got mount, remembered what steal city commented on about how I should concentrate on keeping my position and let him gas out. I sat there controlling him and made him work for maybe 2.5 minutes before I isolated an arm, threw my leg over and eventually worked everything out for a tap with like 3-4 seconds to go . Then instead of clapping hands or whatever we hugged and decided that we'd need another match to settle this soon since we're now 1-1. Decided to skip the morning practice because I was tired as hell and short of sleep though. Overall I feel that it's much easier to keep to the real basic stuff now. Now weird sub attempts from half guard or fancy moves. Just sweep -> pass -> mount -> armbar or get the back and work for a RNC. I used to try for triangles all the time but it really seems like something that only works when the other guy fucks up a bit or when you're just much better/stronger/bigger.

Anyway, my "plan" for this 4 month summer without school is to play a ton of poker and do as much BJJ as I can. I'm hoping to get like 80k hands/month in while 6ish-tabling or so and work out in one way or another at least 5-6 times a week. I feel that I mostly want to get better but it'd be cool to get much better conditioning (right now it sucks) and strength too. Maybe start Muy Thai or something this fall too, for some more diverse training. Heh. Dunno if I have time though. As for the pokering I hope pick my game up a step or five. I know a fair few things I do bad and I want to fix them.

Moving to 50NL by Spicy, April 29

http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r124/SpicyChicken626/poker/50nl.jpg

Games are more aggressive overall but I don't think they are that hard.
Ran into std. coolers like KK vs AA and top 2pair vs bottom set on AK7 but ended up being okay

thinking about becoming a 6max player by K40Cheddar, April 28

I think I'm going to try to become a 6max/SH player. Since I don't use a HUD, I find it difficult to keep track of the 64 other people I'm playing with on 8 full ring tables and I really feel like it affects my game. I don't want to play like a robot, and sometimes I think a guy is tight when he actually isn't or think he's a fish when he actually isn't. I feel like if I play 4 tables of 6max, I can get the same amount of hands in one session as 8 tables of full ring, and I can focus a lot better on my opponents without a HUD. Plus, I think it would be more enjoyable because I can focus more on my reads. I'm not really interested in the money aspect of poker right now. I'm just trying to get better. I'm probably going to start fresh again on 6max only and build up.

I think in the long run this won't be that bad of an idea, and could potentially be more profitable in less hands than full ring. Looking forward to the challenge

3 sc2 beta keys by blade55555, April 28

So I have 3 beta keys which I do know will not sell for very much since I know how easy it is to give but for people who don't want to pre-order to get a key or if their area does not work for it then will they can buy them cheap from me I had 4 but I used 1 for the Euro to make sure they worked for both so they key you get will work 100% for the US and Europe and I am pretty sure will work for Asia but don't want to waste a key testing it.

These are actual keys so you can put them in whatever battle.net account you have.

If your interested send me a pm and I would prefer to be paid by transfer to poker stars but if I have to do paypal that will work too. Just PM me with what you want to pay or what not.

D is for Datamining by GoTuNk, April 28

Hello Francisco,

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

PokerTableRatings (also known as TableRatings) is a service that is based
upon datamining, and consequently, we prohibit it at all times.

This is discussed in passing on our page on prohibited services and
software, which you can read at:

http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/prohibited/

The relevant part says:

Q. In general, what kinds of tools and services are prohibited?

A. The following types of tools and services are prohibited:

... 2. Any program that works off of a central database of player results or
hands played is prohibited. ...

Datamining is not allowed because it does not approximate how face to face
poker works.

Poker is by nature and definition a game of incomplete information. A
significant part of the game is in acquiring information through the normal
course of gameplay, including information about player tendencies,
aggression, loose/tight style, how often they bluff and so forth.

Just as you could not "datamine" every table for hours on end at the
Bellagio due to physical limitations, we have a rule in place that
datamining is not permitted here even though a computer can easily do so.

PokerStars is aware that there are people who try to break our rules on
datamining, and consequently, I'm pleased to advise that we are in the
process of improving our software to stop this activity.

While, from an outsider's point of view, it may appear to be a simple
software tweak, there are a variety of internal systems that are intertwined
that need to be adjusted. Our hand histories are obviously a core component
of our services, and we need to be very careful that any changes that we
make do not have unintended consequences that hurt other players.

Despite the challenges, we are making very real progress on this project,
and I envisage that you will be pleased with the improvements in the near
future.

If you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us back
at any time.

Regards,

David C

I encourage u guys to do the same, PM support complaining about pokertable ratings =D

Btw nl25 seems really easy now, but watching some nl50 regs I met before makes me feel i'm with the losers =(. Anyways, gonna be overrolled for nl50 again when I hit 50k fpps and gonna be back to pwn some asses; i've worked on my game and it seems just some simple preflop adjustments gonna avoid me some gross spot on laters streets at nl50.

GL ALL

Cause u bothered sitting there reading this, u earned to watch her sitting:

New MMO Allods by Perisie, April 27

so i tried playing Allods , theres a thread about it here

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=112296¤tpage=9

probably played it 20 hours and am level 8

THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!!!

who wants to play a game where it takes 3 minutes to kill 1 mob? at level 5????

and there's no auto-attack so you need to spam not only your 2 shitty skills (that do , gosh, 8 dmg at level 7 - if they aren't dodged) but you also need to spam the Normal Attack button too (which does like 2 dmg...when it hits)

it took me about 5 hours to get from level 5 to level 6 (and you get +1 strength point for your trouble)

the quests consist of "walk for 7 minutes through a complex maze (there's no on-screen minimap) then walk right back again" x1000

i don't think i've ever had this little fun playing an mmo. seriously, 3 minutes to kill each single fucking mob? all i wanted to do was get to lv10 to try out 2handed weapons (you can only use sword and shield until then, not for any particular reason) but this is tooooo much

tried using my 10 cashshop "shouts" to see if anyone on tl.net was logged in, but my message is insta scrolled by the constant gold spammers
