Almost won a seat to WPT-PCA in the bahamas, but I guess I'll just have to wait until next year to try to get into a big tournament. I'm under 21 still so i'll have to try to qualify for some offshore ones.

So the other day was going just awesome. During the day this girl I was kind of seeing at the beginning of the year came over and ended my bad run, woohooooo. About time I caught some cards.

Anyway, there is this girl Laura who I kind of wanted all semester, but I never really got to hang out with her, and from what was relayed to me through others she wanted me too. My roommate Joe is good friends with one of her roommates, but we never got the chance to all hang out together. Joe told me that tonight was going to be her last night before xmas break, and she wanted to go out, YESSSSSS, WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS BABY TONIGHTS THE NIGHT.

Anyway, we go out to some bars and her roommates are acting all sad the whole time, saying that its so sad that this was her last night on campus. I was thinking to myself "you guys need to chill out, youll be back in like 3 weeks". I was kind of bummed out because bad beat city arrived and her brother showed up to the bar. I was like oh god wtf. First off the kid was like 6'3 220, a lot bigger than me, second off, he seemed kind of protective, and third off I didnt really feel like disrespecting him.

So I told her roommate, Anna, that I wanted to hit on her so bad but I didnt want to disrespect her brother. so she goes "ill tell laura that". THANK YOU ROOMMATE WINGMAN!!! So she went over to relay the information to laura and man was i pumped.

Ok, so her brother goes to some other bar or something, but we were going to meet up with him later, so i saw a chance (which seemed like the only opportunity id get any time to talk with her without her brother there). I walk over and say "so i really wanted to ask you out all semester but i never really got the chance, and now were with your brother and i dont want to hit on you and disrespect him, do i have to wait till next semester to get some time with you?"

she looked up kind of surprised and i thought i was in until i hear "why didnt you ask me out all semester, this is my last night here im not coming back" OMG SUCH A TERRIBLE BEAT. i got owned so hard, apparently shes going to ENGLAND next semester then who knows after that. at least i have the satisfaction of knowing i WOULD HAVE BEEN IN if i wasnt such a retard timing wise lol.

so the night ends up unsuccessful, i decide to not try to viciously hook up with her that night while her brother is there, so i go home and notice the grim reaper of blue screens of death on my monitors. i try restarting, but something is wrong with windows and it wont start. so i go to bed and decide to fix it the next day.

i wake up and mess around for a little while, but no matter what i just cant get windows to start. so i say fuck it, do a system restore back to october, and manage to get windows back up and running. oh yeah, i rule. so my computer is up, im happy, decide to open minesweeper and play a little and then i realize IT DELETED ALL MY SCORES. Then my mind quickly runs things over and realize not only did it delete my minesweeper high scores, but it also deleted all my PT stats since october AND MY PORNO.

oh well, at least that day started off well, i guess i am still running bad.

gotta go study for my 2 finals tomorrow. math 501 and math 535, gonna be a fucking blast. lets just hope and pray i dont fail my ass out of here.

bad day at 2/5 game + terrible run online.

Okay, so I had 5500 or so online so I decided to start playing 4 tables of 100NL and 2 tables of 200NL so I could gradually get into the 200NL game. That was going well until i lost almost $1,000. $979 to be exact. The day prior to that I lost $1,170 at the 2/5 game because I played like a complete donkey. It was essentially all my fault, but it was "only" two buy ins at that game so it's not a big deal as far as I'm concerned. The bad news is that this puts me down to a combined loss of $2,030 in 3 days. damn. Well, the good news is that I'll be getting 30+% rakeback at ultimate bet soon so i'll be taking advantage of that. The bad news is I'm down to a combined total of...

Lame. Gonna take a lot of grinding to work back but I'm not giving up. In fact, I was running really well in a 10k guaranteed tourney but unfortunately I ran into kings with 4 tables left and broke even in tournaments on the day. Darn, couldve used that $4,000 first prize. Back to the grindstone I suppose.

PS: I won't be going to the saturday game unless I feel like I can play my best Tight Aggressive game there. No bluffing allowed at that game except in rare situations. That's all.

bad day at 2/5 game + terrible run online.

Okay, so I had 5500 or so online so I decided to start playing 4 tables of 100NL and 2 tables of 200NL so I could gradually get into the 200NL game. sicnce i made a blog post so let me make one now


i just enjoyed a night of drinkig in state college pennsylvania with some fine dindividuals. the night was not as exciting as it could have been though. It was ALMOST a great night, but instead was just interesting.

ok, so i wander around from bar to bar, whatever boring shit. finally i show up at this place the saloon at around 1, and before going in i see my friend Jay standing outside arguing with someone. Now, lets get some backstory on Jay.

Jay was an all american wrestler in high school and is currently training to be an MMA fighter in the UFC, and has a 16-1 amateur record. every time i go out drinking with jay i make him tell me figh tstories and show me cool shit like how to make someone submit by pushing in their thumb. its pretty fucking awesome.

so anyway, jay was mad disrespected tonight by some fools that have no idea who he is. he was eventually kicked out of the bar and needed an escort home inc ase someone tried to jump him, and i was more than happy to do it because a) its been a while since ive been in a fight (about 6 months, oh undergrad and my goddamn girlfriend who i had to get in a fight over every weekend) and b) i would fucking LOVE to see Jay just pummel someone, it would literally make my year.

ok so, i walk jay a few blocks, stop to get a beer with him at some place, talk about fighting a bit, had a few short arm wrestling matches (yeah, im a pretty goddamn good arm wrestler, if you dont think so challenge me at pca ill arm wrestle for money), and jay handed me my first arm wrestling loss in about 7 years (last time i lost to my dad), and then walked home.

fucking sucked, i wanted to see some poor bastard get demolished by a fury of elbows and blows to the face. Next time im going to literally talk shit to the angriest looking dude i can find and then find Jay and tell him he was disrespecting his mother. 10k fight yo???, jay is up for it and im backing his ass.


so earlier today i had a session with taylor. played some 5/10 6max at stars, which taylor called "the most boring fucking games hes ever seen". yeah, pretty fucking tight and uninteresting shit happened.

one cool hand went down where some fish raised the button to 30, sb reraised to 140, i had AKc in the bb, so obviously im going to repop cause im not some little sissy girl who will fold AKs to some heavy action inf ront of him for one buyin, so i reraise to 400, button insta pushes and after some thought the sb calls. Well at this point im geting like 4:1 odds and I have AKs and its just one buyin so GAMBOOOOOOLL. they had KK/QQ and obviously I hit cause taylor is watching me so I run like maurice green. boooyahhh, ok, i won about 1500 in the session, 2k of which came from that one hand, so yeah, otherwise i lost. go me.

ok thats about it for interesting hands. the rest were basically, raise, fold. raise, call, cbet, call, shtudown, fold. raise, call, bet, raise, fold. lame shit.

ok, that is all i have to say. goodnight and dont let those fuckers disrepsect you, if they are ill show you some moves by way of jay.



OH YEAH. one last little rant. THIS FUCKING GIRL i am interested in WILL NOT GO OUT EVER. like seriously, every single time i try to get her out shes in bed already. honestly, waht fucking college student goes to bed at 10:45 on a monday. take out your tampon, to have a beer and hang out with me. come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn how hard is it. apparently (from what her roommate says) shes into me, and shes prtty fucking cute SO WHY DONT YOU RESPOND TO ANYTHING YOU LIAR.

tomorrow she says she will go out. tomorrow will be the day. i will post updates on the situations with this estrogen clogged artery. hopefully they will be good updates. probably not because i run like stephen hawking.



ok, im gonna go to bed and watch event horizon. all i remember is when i was like 12 years old and that was in theaters it fucking killed me. like scariest movie ive ever seen not even close. hopefully its just as scary as i remember cause i want to have some fucked up dreams tonight. pretty mucht he only thing i can recall is a fucking freaky bathtub scene and people ripping their eyeballs out. oh man, this is gonna be one fucked up sleep. Man, I have not felt like playing lately. I've played ~200 hands today and I'm ready to be done for the day. I made a little money, but I'll probably be going out to the 1/2 game tonight to see if I can boost my live bankroll a bit. I plan on really playing tight and hoping to pick some good spots. Anyways, today went like this online (I added the $395 i made today live):

Eh, lost about 120 bucks in MTTs and sats today and won ~25-30 dollars playing 2 tables of .5/1.00.

Didn't really feel like playing much. Probably go out tomorrow night/thurs night and play in the live games and really try to up the live bankroll so that I can play more aggressive in this week's Saturday game. we'll see how the cards come out though.

On a happy note, after my first 7 days of the challenge I'm up almost 19 buy ins and i'm currently beating NL100 for 10.10 BB/100 hands. I think that Im going to try to create an UltimateBet account with rakeback in the coming weeks/days. I already have an account there, but i'd like one with rakeback. The mid-stakes games just look really juicy with ~40% avg players/flop in the short handed games. I'll probably move there when I hit $1/$2.

So, how much more until 1/2 you ask? 10 more buy ins 'til the bankroll hits 6k, so i'm expecting to be there by the end of next week at the rate I'm going. I'm going to try to play more hands and grind out the cash games, I've been slacking the last couple days.

Another MTT day. Played satellites all morning and won 3 qualifiers for the sunday million, so i'll be playing in that + I have $295 profit from playing the qualifiers so i'm freerolling in the sunday million, I'll update if I cash in it.
