Well today was shit. Started off great again losing a buy-in AA vs QQ preflop. Tilt, bad played, and major suckouts were the story of my day. Flop set-->turn comes flush, what can ya do. Oh well, the donks will ship it all back eventually.

I started off with 355 today.

Maybe I didn't play as well as I should; maybe it was just a series of bad beats.

Whatever it was, it caused my bankroll to go down to 315.

It's kind of hard to believe for most of you that losing is possible on micro stakes, but it's happening often.

It's very boring, so I'm going back to playing 6max 10nl.
I'll learn more also.

12 tabling nl5, just nutpeddling but everytime I have K3, I go allin and cry when they beat me and watch them cry when their Doyle's don't hold.

As promised, I've translated an old post of mine.

1. Girls have by evolution and bad weekly magazines been taught that it’s a bad thing to be a slut. More or less any guy would sleep with anyone even remotely attractive. Thus; if every guy was gay we’d have much more sex. BigBalls bad run would end really fast. Hmm, it might end fast anyway, I’ve heard that a big wallet is the only thing sexier then a big penis.

2. Girls get old fast. The world’s hottest 40-something years old, Madonna, already start looking a bit shabby. Brad Pitt and George Clooney on the other hand are really hot. Also, guys doesn’t look like Ogres when they we don’t wear make-up.

3. Guys know what it’s like to get a blowjob. Girls don’t, per definition. Some faggot I know told me that this means that guys give better blowjobs. Sounds reasonable.

4. Fags can watch porn without degradating women. Gay porn can’t degradate women. There are no women.

5. Dudes don’t have PMS.

6. You won’t have to trust something that bleeds once a month without any noticeable damage.

7. Guys aren’t as sensitive as girls. We’ve got more humor in common. You could probably tell a sexist, racist and/or really, really stupid joke without having to go without sex for a week.

8. There’s a higher probablility that you’ll find someone who has the same hobbies as you.

9. This was basicly a stupid wordpun that doesn’t work in English. Just laugh or something.

10. If you’re in Sweden, and someone says something offensive to you, you could just throw the “Law about agitation against an ethnic group” and put them in jail.

Today I decided I was gonna partially move up, played 3 tables of nl25, and 3 tables of nl50. I'm not gonna get much in the way of rakeback, but I definitely thought a little bit more clear. I made a bunch of plays I usually don't make when I'm 12 tabling and I didn't pay off as much anymore. It was pretty nice to actually book a winning day.

ok so after finishing my poker session today i found that my bankroll was at $6,666 (i mean, my party-bankroll, i got some more on other sites). i think its a sign that Devil will probably help me run good in nearby future. looking forward to tommorows session

A little about me: I'm an 18 year old freshman at Cornell University. I started playing poker seriously in my junior year of high school, and have been studying the game ever since. At the start of my fall semester, I took a $50 instant bankroll at Absolute Poker and built that up playing limit hold'em and bonus whoring. I switched to No Limit in October of 2006 and am currenly playing NL $50 6-max at UltimateBet, planning to move up to NL $100 by the end of the week. The transition from limit to NL hasn't been easy, but I think I've finally got it down and am ready to move up. I'll be posting daily updates, random thoughts, etc. here.

Ok, today I received RakeBack from December on FTP.
It's pretty big sum for me right now ($360 ), so that gives us a total of $1800 roll!

Short-term goal passed!

I tried to play some NL50, ended loosing like $10, mostly because I have been disconnected in middle of two pretty big hands (2x40bb's pots) and lost them without showdown... THANK YOU BITCHY ISP..

Oh, one more thing - i should set new Short-term goal, maybe reach NL100 (with $3000 roll) in max. two months, before 17 March.

So I just nitted-up and played even more poker today

Amount Won: $38.20 (but remember about my $10 that haven't been recorded in database).
PTbb/100: 1.77
Hours: 5.07
MT: 4.79

Few difference between NL25 and NL50:
a)players are more aggressive preflop and postflop on NL50.
b)there are more TAGS/LAGS/NITS, less fishes.
it's hard to find a table with more than 1 fish and less than 2 of good TAGS or 3 LAGS/NITS.

I think it will take some time to adjust completely to this level.
But time will tell

Well during this last summer '06 I went to visit my friends YoMeR and Klogon who I think most know on TL.net. We've known each other for quite awhile and they moved to Oregon so I've met up with them every once in awhile. Anyway they were playing poker and I thought it'd be fun to try and play too. So basically I went back home after visiting them and got the $75 free on party. Then I played NL50 with my whole roll, which was awesome bankroll management. Somehow heatered my way to $400, talking shit to Yomer the whole way and transfered to stars where i proceeded to go broke.

Later on I realized I really actually wanted to play so I went up to visit them again and we went and gambled at the casino about an hour away in Washington. After that I got $50 on stars from Yomer and grinded my way to 300 before I monkey tilted it away down to $100. I proceeded to short stack NL200 out of frustration and somehow luckboxed my way to 200 again and started to grind NL10 again. Basically I grinded up to around 550 before I moved up to NL25 and was doing well until I hit a downswing and lost half my roll. Grinding NL10 again followed that back up to 800. Then a 300 cashout. Most losing back to 300.

Now during this time I'd been playing SNGs with my friend chris aka milkman to people who go on vent. So we got accused of colluding and now my account is frozen pending reivew. GG me.

Once I'm cleared, which I'm very sure I will, I plan on grinding NL10 for a week or so until I'm rolled for NL25 and hope to just keep grinding my way and working relaly hard to reach goals of NL100 or NL200 by the end of this school year.

Later when I can play again I'll mostly use this blog to keep track of progress and hands played. I want to get around 2k hands at the least 5 days a week. Leaving me a couple days to go party and not be a lazy degenerate.

in 5 nl u can buy in with 10$ aka 200 bb
so stacks are much bigger compared to BB & SB.
so u can have a bigger winrate
