I decided to post my February summary today, because I will not play any more poker till March. Unfortunately I didn't play as much as I would like, but this is going to change in next month (my goal is 100k hands minimum).

I have problems with my office, so I have to post really short summary.

Finally i stopped being cheap and got a new monitor

well it was pretty cheap anyways, 22 inch for $250, it was pretty sharp tho for such a cheap monitor, pics and more description later

max resolution is 1650x1080. i dont overlap at all now (first time) ^^

was always using a laptop monitor to play

I've began pumping iron in the past 3 weeks or so, and I've been inspired by these words (even though I disagree) to continue pumping for at least another 4 months and compare how puny I was at the start to how (hopefully) buff I'll be at the end of it.

Oh and somewhat on topic, since this is a poker site and all...BR update is that I'm at $387, I'll play a 2 hour session tonight after I've had a shower.

Played a break even session early in the day, won some moniez later session. Best hand was AA>K10, board KQxxx against 80/1 station.

Was down about 2BI's yesterday after being down 6 at one point. Playing with 60/20 retards sucks balls when they suck you out or hit the nuts every hand.

After a couple of sessions, my bankroll has not changed even though I must have won more than 10BI on the full ring, I am actually crap enough lose to all on 6max. So for the past few days, all I have been doing is getting money out of the FR people and transfer it into those who play 6max. This obvious tells me that I need to stop playing 6max and giving money away.

i also finally cleared the $650 bonus, so my br was big enough to take some shots at nl100 since yesterday. going kinda ok, im feeling more comfortable again as i am quickly approaching my old limits again! =)

started to buy another $650 bonus today, 1/4th of it is already cleared after 1 day of playing.

im planning to play a lot tomorrow and in this week in general.

My name is Imre and i have been playing poker like over year. I remember Radioheads etc on 10nl when i started but almost all plyers who i played on 10nl have been playing 100nl or higer. I must say i really sucked in beginning, i had terrible tilt control and played way to many hands and most importanly i played my hands wrong. Then it played ok but still had tilt problems.

I have had moderate sucess in tournaments but all those wins have been 1-2$ buyins my biggest touranment win was 1200$ 6th place on party 6$ rebuy.

About going busto hmm i have gone busto 3-4 times all most i can blame tilt taking shots 2-3 higer levels.

I was busto 2 months ago since my friend gave me 50$ on party what i payed him back on same day. So with those 2 months have been good practise for me. I would say i dont tilt and dont feel what i felt then i was running super bad.

So how i have been running those 2 months hmm i would say ok since i havent been playing alot. Four tabing has got me 120 buyins in those 2 months on 10nl. Only problem is that i have cashed most of it out to pay some bills. I left as much needed to play 10nl so i will grind there long again. Hopefully i will take shot on 25nl then i have like 400$. And drop to 10nl if i loose 4 bis.

hello all,

i think i'm doing pretty well as of late but could be playing better than i am. I really need to focus on posititon i think because i lose way too much money calling from the blinds with bull shit hands. But, I am sitting with 410 in my pokerstars account and am very happy about that. I mainly play 12 tables of NL10 fr (hopefully i can win 9 buyins to jump up to NL25 but im not rushing anything) or sometimes i play six 6-max tables of NL10. Also, i really enjoy the 6 handed sngs and find them to be pretty soft. Well, that's all i need to say for now..Gl with all ur play

Have played about 10k hands since my last entry and some ppl seems to want me to keep posting so ill just update a bit on whats been going on. I tried to make a video twice but I somehow fucked it up both times leaving me with no sound T_T. Im going off snowboarding tomorrow so wont be able to make one then, I will have to wait till the day after tomorrow until I make another serious atempt.

Geez, I really hope this video will get interesting now that Ive built up all this tention

Poker is still treating me well, I now have 50 buyins for 3/6 so I see no real reason why I should continue to grind 2/4. The last two days I have only played 3/6 and I plan on staying there, making 3/6 my main game. Im quite confident Im capable of beating 3/6 for a good amount of money and to be honest the game dynamics fit me better. Overall players are a bit tighter and I love to punish nits.

In other news, me and my brother are going to italy (Livigno) for a week of snowboarding in April. Im looking forward to it sooo much, Its going to be fucking awesome. Going to need to grind alot the following days since I soon need to cash out some money to pay for the trip, and I would like to, if possible, avoid moving down to 2/4.

so im depositting $160 tonight (possibly tomorrow depends when my money comes in but should be tonight) going to play 5c10c on FTP. somewhat sucky because this is my frist deposit so im missing out on the full 600 bonus they offer, but id rather start now than wait untill middle of april when id be able to deposit the full (never been patient i was the kinda kid who used to shake his christmas presents to work out what was inside ). but anyway hopefully it will go well, from what ive heard FTP isnt too different in terms of skill level and everyone is an ubernit, which i love because theres no greater feeling than taking pots you dont deserve away from nits . ill update here with hands br checks and general progress (more for me to collect my thoughts on i think than for any readers. anyway hopefully i wont tilt my roll away (ive got experience in this area) or have to cash out before i can get a good roll together. well wish me gl and if anyone can fasion me a luckbox with a picture of lee jones in would be great (ive heard when he dishes out luck it travels across sites and continents

So I've played far to few hands, simply because I havn't had enough much time. I ran good during most of january and then a hit a little downswing and I've basicly not been able to get back into "crazy-win-mode" since then. I think that my pf-ranges are probably far superior to most people on unibet, most of them are nitty as fuck (>10 pfr is common), but I've still got some big leaks in my post flop play. I tend to pay people off too much and I'm not valuebetting enough. I also run some big stupid bluffs sometimes and I "semi-tilt" sometimes.

My vpip has been very big from time to time but during the last few K hands I've been running at about 22/18 which I think is probably pretty decent. My flop aggression is useally around 6 but the turn and river aggro is below 2, which I think is pretty bad. It might be that I get into multipots a lot with weak holdings (checking from blinds and such) but overall I think I should try to get them a little higher. It's probably just that I don't valuebet enough. I'd like to get my total AF to around 5 at least during mars.

Goals for march:

Be more aggressive
Stop being a POW
Valuebet more
At least 30k hands

Lundin Petroleum (LUPE.SAX)

A Swedish oil company with some intressting projects in Sudan and Russia. If either of those hit big they’ll probably gain a lot since they are down about 25% the last 3 months due to a few set backs. The drilling in Russia got slowed down by technical difficulties and then the winter came which postponed the drilling untill sometime this spring. A russian company drilled next to this sector last year and found a really big source of oil and since the geological stuff seems pretty much the same the expectations should be pretty high here. The Sudan thingy is probably a bit higher risk because of the tendency of the lokal population to kill each other. It’s basicly a pain in the ass to work there, but if it calms down this one could be really big too. I’ve got some money in this company and I think that it’ll probably work out well since the oil price historcly is very low in february but gets higher later in the year and if the Lagansky thingy and/or the Sudan stuff works out as it should we can be in for a really fun ride. But on the other hands, it could get fucked up too.

Uranium

As of december 2006, we had 435 reactors in the world with 28 under construction, 64 more planned and over 150 proposed. Some expert says that we’ll need between 100 and 500 new reactors untill 2030. Right now the price of uranium is really high and is getting higher, due to a flooding in the Cigar Lake complex, a site owned by Cameco that was expected to deliver a decent part of the world production from 2008, and the fact that most of the current production is tied up to long term contracts makes it unlikely that the price will drop anytime soon. Sprott Secutities has spectulated that this will take something along the lines of 5 to 7 years before the prices drops to somewhere around 50 USD/ibs.

SXR URANIUM ONE INC (SXR.TO)

A big ass uranium company that will get some nice production volumes soon. Thay’re up a fair bit the last few months but if the uranium price continues to rise they’ll probably be on of the companies that’ll get the most out of it.

UR-ENERGY INC (URE.TO)

<3. A company with a uranium sites at a few locations in North America. I’ve got some money in it and it has worked out fine so far. The problem is that since they did race a bit the last week they’re probably a bit overvalued in relation to some other uranium companies. I’m not sure about that though, I’ll keep them for a few months or so I think, maybe more.

DENISON MINING CORP (DML.TO)

I don’t know that much about these guys except that it’s the Lundin family that’s behind them. I love the lundin family and they’re responsible for a lot of my profit in the stock market, I’ll be sure to check them out and if I find anything remotly to my liking this may be the next thing I’ll get into my portfolio.

Mining

VENA RESOURCES INC (VEM.V)

Mining and uranium in Peru, they’ve got a really nice deal with Cameco (the worlds biggest uranium producer) and a really nice management group. I have about 2k invested in this company and so far they’re done really well.

Lundin Mining (LUMI.SAX)

The Lundin family’s mining company. The price is farily low and it’s a well managed company as far as I can tell. Not really that intressting, but probably a nice addition to a mining portfolio.

TENKE MINING CORP (TNK.TO)

Sick coppar resources in Afrika. I thought they’d do good but nothing has really happends since the hype last summer.

NEW GUINEA GOLD CORPORATION (NGG.V)

Problably a good company as long as the gold price is this high. I don’t know much about them but it’s one of those companies I’d like to buy some stocks in.
