I decided to set myself some targets for March and see if it can help me with dedication etc.

1st I want to make $500 at NL10 for March, so far after 6 days I am +$190 but have been running quite nicely.

2nd I aim to clear $350 worth of my deposit bonus on UB (so far about $65 cleared).

3rd stop overplaying AK

That is all, will give my results on these at the end of the month if I remember ^^

So 6 days have passed this month what have grown my roll from 100 to 400. So it would make +5bi in day. After i got to 400$ tonight first time i opened 2 6max shorthanded tables. Couldnt pick any hands and was down -10 decided to play on fullring.

Fullring was extremly tight compared 10nl fullring. So i got coolered 2 times then i managed to flop lower flush vs higer flush vs guy on button and lost -bi. So i quited 25nl then i was down -2 bis and went to gring on 10nl again.

It didnt work very well because every money drawed out on me. First somone minraises 2bb before me I make it 1.20$ with KK so halfstack pushed after thinking 3secs and i had to call ofcouse he had AA. So on other table again some guy minraises so this time i had AA and i made 1.20$ again to go and he instapushed and i instacalled River ofcouse K and KK won. So i lost one KK more to shorstack donkl who won A8 and then i lost QQ to AQ and JJ to 99. So it was pretty awful how much i got sucked out. But still managed end my session back on 400$. I will take shot on 25nl again then i get to 500$

So today, after 6 days and few hours of cashing out from Pacific, I've got my money. As mentioned in previous entry I missed because of this 100$ party promotion. So my plan is like this I deposited ~700$ at mansion for that 700$ bonus then cashed out 350$ to move it on PartyPoker (where I already have like 60$), because on mansion are like 2-3 tables on NL25 so I shouldn't keep entire BR there.


So I'm now at 36% rakeback 6700$ bonus at Mansion + I keep grinding those fishes at partypoker, there are some completely ridiculous games that shows how easy it is there. I hope I've developed my game and progress with my skill a bit I have a good feeling about my game and lots of self confidence.

I've played for like 1-2 hours and managed to crush it pretty much.

I'm running kinda good and I play decent enough. I'm up like 6 buyins today and I'm having a blast. RL kinda fucks with me a bit but it's hard to be angry when you've made close to a decent monthly pay check in 5 days.

Alright, so as I had mentioned in my last blog I had a bet to play 10k hand this weekend with Trey. Fri. night played 3,300 and ended up chasing losses at NL50 b/c I'm a tilt monkey. Then Friday and Saturday I juts pwned people while playing 8 tables of NL25 on UB.

Notice I really didn't figure out what was wrong until around hand 7,900. There's also $50 missing that PAHUD didn't pick up from UB HH Window.

Ok, so poker is now coming back on track. I moved up again from 50NL to 100NL and am now almost br'ed for 200nl. So i guess it has been going good but not really playing much due to school.


Have a few stories that might involve poker related stuff:

first : Douche Bag friend screwed my battery

A little over a month ago I bought me a laptop, yee-ha. My friend drove me to best-buy and I ended up getting a printer also. We went back to his place and watched some movies, at the end of the night, about 2:00 am or something, I decide to go home which is walking distance from his place (we both live on univ. campus). I take my laptop with the power cable in my book bag and leave the rest in the boxes there to pick up later.

Ok so a few days later I am there again and we watch movies again (this happens a lot, the guy has the hugest tv screen in the smallest amount of space I have ever seen) and at the end of the night I ask him to give me a ride home to take these boxes.
note: I NEVER ASK FOR RIDES, I always walk home.

The gay-ass friend refuses so I take my printer box and put it on my shoulder and go for the 20 min walk in the cold ass weather, np. So a few days later I call him up and say "hey im gonna pick up my laptop box cause I need my battery tomorrow". So hes like "what you talking about? I threw that out"

GG battery. So i got screwed over on battery, he talked to me as if it was my fault and I didn't bother to argue. After pondering over the situation a bit I realized it's both our faults and he should OFFER to help pay the 140$ that is a new battery. I think that even though you are doing someone a favor, you are responsible for the favor, so to be honest I think he should pay the full amount, but whatever. No offers... so that makes him a douchebag of a friend.

Please let me know if you think I'm out of line in my train of thought.

second: Pokerstars GG's me on monitor

I ordered 20" monitor over a month ago. It arrived 2 weeks later, broken. I reported and got word that the monitor would be picked up.

That seems cut and clear, but it isn't, PS support was a mess in letting me know what was going on. One day I randomly get a phone call from UPS saying they coming to pick up a package. I obviously figure this to be for monitor, but wtf, why didn't PS emmail me about this? So, I am on my way to class and realize that I don't know what address to forward this thing to, or is it UPS that fills this crap out? I don't know...

Finally I get a call from the company that does this work for PS and a british guy talks to me in this tone of voice thats basically saying "u moron" and tells me UPS will try two more times.

Anyways, more then three weeks later, it is still in my room!

I don't like to talk badly about PS but this situation is messed up. It's now to the point where I am asking them for the address so I can send it out. PS really needs to be more clear in these situations.

Well, it's been a while. I went broke with that dollar, ran it up to 10 or something and i dunno, i dont really remember it's unimportant.

Whats new: I got staked about 2 weeks ago by ggplz (badass motherfucker) with 40buyins minus rake at the $3 10p sng.

I agreed to pay him back 240 when i reached 360, and if I went busto he was ok with it. No way was I going to go busto with someone elses money, but oh well.

I reached the 360 pretty easily, it was februrary 27th and I had one day left to earn 400fpp or so to earn for silverstar and ggplz agreed to let me continue playing the 6s so that I could accomplish that. I think that came up to something like 133 sng or so, whatever it was, i've played many many more in a day before so I wasn't too concerned.

I ran red hot that day and at about 10:40 PM with my newly found $500br I decided to take a little break, I had an hour left to go and only a few sng left to play. I get back, decide to earn the final 40fpp via nl25 since I was bored as hell with sng. Then bam, 11pm, PS resets and I have to earn 1500 more to acheive silverstar, central time zone < easter time zone

what the fuck, gay? 20fpp away or something, I also lost 2buyins in 300 hands. What a fucking bummer.

I shipped ggplz his 240 and I had 200 left.

Since then, ive earned TWO sunday million tickets, unregistered from both, cashed out $50 and besides that ran insanely shitty in sng (down $100 or something)

Played in a lot of MTT recently, I feel my game improving there a lot lately. Didn't hit any FT's tonight, but I got top 18 in two tournaments which is such a cocktease.

oh well.

edit - forgot to mention, i got absolutely fucking raped at nl10 for no reason this week.

during my stake from ggplz i was making well over 2buyins/1k hands.

I think i lost like 6 buyins in 1k hands or so the other day, I have no idea what the hell was going on. Probably going to play some NL10 tommorow, and after I get some confidence back there, switch it up to some nl25.

Just didnt feel in it today. Played horribly and somehow luckboxed my way with set from flop 3 handed, improving to quads, to beat nut straight from flop. Because of that drawout and a suckout from early in the sitting, I managed to end up 1BI after 1k hands. Good enough I guess

Poker is FUN.

Down 5 buy ins in like 5 minutes. Set over set, flush draws vs AA... basically part suckouts and one tilt move and bad plays (I'm sure I could've gotten out of 1 or 2... where I had AK and villan flops two pair). What I found out was that if I just played my style I'd eventually make it all back which I did.

That was on Saturday. Today I was quickly down 2.5 buy ins. 5 times in 400 hands my set, two pair went up against straights. One guy even flopped a higher straight than I did. FLOPPED! Again, I didn't tilt, I just played as usual and after 1000 hands I'm up half a buy in.

Bad beats will happen. As long as you play smart you eventually will get the cards and some donk will eventually donate his money to you. My goal. At LEAST 1K hands a day for the next 30 days

Okay - this is what I am going try to and accomplish. Over the next few days I will figure out a way to accomplish this. Idealy I would want to do 3k hands/day but this assumes I will paly every day which never do, I always take breaks here and there. So I think I will have to do 4k+ hands over 25 sessions - this seems like the most practical way to achieve this.

Morons keep stacking off w/ 2nd pair sometimes just A high without draw - and I don't mean AK, they are playing AJ, A9 etc for stacks... UNIMPROVED - WTF - TY 4 donate.

I'm not even running good - over the last 6-7 weeks people just keep playing back at me for whatever reason and calling down very light. I'm actually losing a lot of big pots hands like AA v 99 all in pre or AK v AJ all in pre etc... but more often than not I do take those down.

So I will determine an action plan to persue this goal and see where things go from there.

Well, thats not really true. More like "my god complex>me". I played 2 sessions of 5/10 like two days ago and ended up stuck 7k. I played really bad though so I deserved it. Lost some coinflips and tilted a bit, which I havent done in a long time so that kinda sucks. I think I have an edge in the 5/10 games, but its probibly not a big one and Im not comfortable with the amounts yet so Im just going to take it slow and keep playing 3/6.

I was just getting better from my fucking cold during the weekend but on saturday I went to see this guitar player with some friends, had a few beers and woke up next morning feeling like hell. The days since then have been horrible. Ive basicly been sitting at my computer, dressed like a fucking eskimo and still shivering and coughing like hell. Havent played alot of poker at all since I havent really felt focused.

Just finished a pretty big session though, the first one since this dreaded cold fucked me over big time.

A real roller coaster session, I took some pretty horrible beats but still ended up in the green which makes me feel really comfortable about my play and my future in the 3/6 games.

Didnt play any cash games today but I agreed to play on a friends name in the sunday million using his FPP. I cashed for 1700 something and my cut was close to 600 so I almost doubled my bankroll which is pretty sweet. Although im obv pissed to get that deep in the million then lose two big hands... but i'll get over it.

Im sure Ket will be happy to hear of my success today <3 <3 <3. But he wasnt online so his fault obvvvv! Dont worry fish I make you rich next weeeeek!!

I'll probably take tomorrow off and just relax since im so far ahead of schedule now.. (yeah right lol) hopefully there will be a new aba20 vid on card runners for me to worship!

So I had to take $200 out for some stuff, had a couple losing days. Blah blah blah. Friend and I bet that we couldn't play 10k hands this weekend.. did, made like $400 or something, then had my friend pay half the entry to the Million today and got 242nd for $1000, and I got half of that.

So since friday i've been playing in the tournaments alot.. haven't even amde a final table im a newb, cash games are going ok i've been trying to 12-table some of the mid stakes 4 fun to see if i can 12 table good, i'm up some but i play like shit 12 tabling, don't know if im going to keep it up but its fun to get FPPs even though that sounds really retarded, planning on getting a 73" TV through concierge service with them.

The stars 25/50 game is retarded as fuck i decided, i don't even like to play it because at every table there is 3-4 shortstacks and its just hella lame, i played it a little today and did ok, won back my tournament losses on the day and a little more.

I'm planning on playing more tournaments along with mid-stakes cash for a little bit, sorta shaky from losing 27k in less than 1k hands at 10/20.. didn't even know it was possible to get raped that fast (was a heasdup game i posted the hands and was just losing mass coinflips) i probably tilted in the game, but definitely not enough to drop 27k so fast.

i really hope daut's letter to pokerstars has some effect on the shortstacking 25/50, its really ridiculous.
